Unfortunately, Nikki and her friends run into roadblocks along the way, and Nikki’s French skills may not be up to par.

Everything was going on in this book like her dress (she was over reacting by the way) then all the stuff with mackenzie. Maybe I am exaggerating, but Nikki seems like a role model to Brianna, and Nikki just continuously dismisses that.Nikki agreed, but couldn’t tell the band members until it was fully agreed that it would work out with the schedule. The Dork Diaries have been enduringly popular for over a decade and positively impact young readers. I enjoyed this quick, fun read, and it was nice to come back to this series and the characters that I have read so much about. The Dork Diaries reading level is perfect for kids 8+ and the diary book style makes them fun and easy to read. The story of a boy, a dog, and the storm of the century is brought vividly to life in this graphic novel adaptation of Lauren Tarshis's bestselling I Survived Hurricane Katrina, 2005, with text adapted by Georgia Ball. So it gets 4 stars for the nostalgia + the laughs it gave me at certain points, where it was either obvious that it was written by a grown woman, and not an actual teenager, or it seemed as if Nikki is third-wheeling in her own story?
