Read more about the condition Very Good: A book that has been read and does not look new, but is in excellent condition. I honestly wonder if Matt’s dad is going to be killed off by the end of the series, or at least be redeemed.

by Ali Sparkes includes books Finding the Fox, Running the Risk (The Shapeshifter, Book 2), Going to Ground (The Shapeshifter, Book 3), and several more. Though it’s only the second book in The Shapeshifter that introduces the overarching villain, she’s absolutely terrifying. Her characters all carry their circumstances in their personalities, and it really is one of the most varied and interesting rosta of characters from any book I’ve ever read.citation needed] [4] After forming a steady relationship with Dax, she begins to learn to accept and use her powers. An underlying sense of humour runs through the books too, which really makes the characters come alive. So far, it’s believed every Ali Sparkes book takes place in the same universe, since there is one character who appears in literally every book so far, except, unfortunately, the Night Speakers series, despite Ali saying there are connections to the world of Dax Jones hidden in the book. Ali always meant to be a singer and an actress but instead found herself writing for a local newspaper, before joining the BBC as a regional broadcast journalist. This book was extremely interesting and how our main character has a rare ability to be a shapeshifter and he is taken to a special school with people like him that have special abilities it also makes for a great mystery.

Ross Welford introduces Time Travelling with a Tortoise, the sequel to Time Travelling with a Hamster, and a whole new time travel adventure! Finding the Fox' seriously isn't as innocent and simple a children's book as it seems, appropriately enough. In seiner Familie ist er nicht glücklich und deshalb freut es ihn, als sich herausstellt, dass er auf ein „besonderes“ Internat gehen kann. Unfortunately there is much less excitement and mystery, and the pupils are less engaging compared with the HP series. This book was thoroughly enjoyable: I loved the writing, the characters, the story, and there were enough twists and turns to keep me fully entertained. This is where Dax first transforms into a fox, and so he squeezes through a hole in the back of the shed to escape - but then, later, when he needs to go back inside as a boy before his stepmother catches him, why doesn't he just go in by the door and trap himself again, instead of wasting time breaking the same hole to make it bigger for him to crawl through? Other cancelled products: If you want to cancel products that are not damaged or incorrectly supplied, then you must inform us of this within seven working days following the date of receipt in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations or otherwise as soon as possible. And I also have a soft spot for people turning into animals and very detailed descriptions of what it feels like it to be a fox. I don’t think I gave Lisa enough love when I was a child but I really enjoyed her character this time around. During the first book, Finding the Fox, Dax discovers his ability to shapeshift into a fox, and is whisked away from his hated stepfamily by the government.
