A friend of mine complimented me on the scent, even though I was about 2 rooms away from her at the time.

I think the opening is very interesting -- like a much sweeter, L'homme-style take on GIT: fresh and almost green (apple instead of lemon verbena - with lemon, lavender, wood, vetiver), but then significantly darkened with vanilla/tonka-sweetness that gets close to the "bubblegum" edge. I even have the impression that here just like to jump on the train of the previous speaker on it, just to say something. I don't think it's necessarily "weaker" than profumo, it just doesn't have some of the attributes that profumo has that helps it project as well as it does. for a frag that is so fking similar to absurdly cheaper and older frags (like the blue guess or riflesso by trussardi), the hype looks really as a slapstick comedy.I review all the memories and thoughts that I associate with the perfume and finally end the day with these impressions.

The Apple is prominent, but the top has a surprising but intoxicatingly "creamy berries" type smell on top. LNDL Bleu electrique is a little fresher in the opening than the original, yet still has a lot of beautiful cardemom sweetness all the way through into the drydown. I agree with BurtReynolds (not a sentence I thought I'd ever say :)) in that I don't understand folk who vote to dislike without having sampled the fragrance.

Anyways, this actually gets pretty good reactions from people and should probably only be used for a club scent.

I will try this and maybe it will be good but, YSL should stop making a flanker under every possible name. Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application.Again I hope YSL stop releasing pointless flankers and bring us back Legendary vintage formulation of La nuit de l'homme. It’s not a “bang for your buck” type of fragrance but to me this is somewhat close as you can get to a perfect fragrance.

My eyes kept going only to that one particular atomizer, which was adorned with a bluish concoction from within.All i was merely doing was echoing what other posters had said, their decline from the day's when they actually released fragrances that were worth owning is a little sad to me. With initially very good sillage it drifts into something about skin tight and is quite pleasant and never too much.
