There were some truly beautiful moments in this book and I often found myself reaching for the tissues. He really loves his boys and although he has some problems with them, it just made him all the more relatable to me. hat einen wirklich spannenden Fall, der aber durch die privaten Konflikte unter den Charakteren zu kurz kommt. Stephen and Jenna are both wounded souls who very much need each other, but they're also both rather stubborn and after being deeply hurt in the past, don't want to feel needy. Please don't misunderstand me - I like a good, well written romance, and am happy to read sexy novels, but this is not the author's best genre. His oldest son Brad has become uncommunicative, and failing at school, his youngest Nick continues with issues from his abduction 6 months earlier, and his aunt continues her meddling matchmaking ways.Jenna is having trouble of her own, in the form of a failing football player, whom she has flunked and thus removed from the football team.

The girls, abducted from their beds, have something in common apart from their cheerleading duties – they each have long dark hair. When Davies shows interest in Jenna, Stephen would like nothing more than to throw the man on the first plane back to Seattle but realises he needs Davies' insight into the killer's mind. As circumstances cause them to continue to meet, they are unable to deny their awareness and feelings for one another. I was also hoping for more time spent on the mystery and not Steven's "woe is me" angst or people telling him he needs to get married again for the sake of his boys -- which again, product of its time.

The serial killer, whom I suspected from the beginning, is the quarterback's fraternal twin, Josh who everyone believed to be slow-witted. Karen worked as an engineer for a large consumer goods company, earning two patents, but as Karen says, “scenes were roiling in my head and I couldn't concentrate on my job so I started writing them down. Readers may never use an unsecured free Internet connection again after plowing through Rose’s engaging new thriller. HAVE YOU SEEN HER is an unforgettable thriller, part of bestselling author Karen Rose’s Raleigh series.

These two are surrounded by secondary and ancillary characters that could be neighbors and friends, they're so realistic, and Steven's boys are particularly endearing - especially Matt.

Finding the murderer is his sole focus but it doesn’t help that his teenage son, Brad, is behaving strangely. The mystery suspense of this plot centers on a serial killer who murdered four girls and got off on a technicality. I love the way, Karen Rose provided the twists and turned between her characters especially Special Agent Steven Thatcher and Dr Jenna Marshall.

There was a lot going on in this book, but my favorite part was the relationships between all the characters.

I have read all the books in this series and they can't come out fast enough, the way Karen Rose has taken a character from each of the books and taken them to the next one but given them a story in their own right is so good. I was particularly fond of the scenes between Jenna and Nicky as Jenna starts to become familiar with Steven's sons. But there's a bright light in his life: his son's teacher, Jenna Marshall, has reached out to help, and slowly she and Steven are falling in love. When Jenna gives a failing grade to one of the football players, she finds herself the target of vandalism and hate notes.
