About this deal
Ok this does smell like SMW, but the opening has that sour inky smell that I can't enjoy no matter how many times I try to get into it. Drydown offers up more masculine power in the form of inimitable musk with notes of sandalwood, cedar wood and sweet ambroxan. It's fine in the air, but I only like wearing things that are smooth right up close, and this certainly is not.
Personally I am not the biggest fan of freshies and citruses and therefore I am not super eager on spending much money on them.I sprayed this on a tester paper yesterday at 6pm and 12 hours later, the scent still creates a scent bubble around my desk. just sprayed this after taking a dump and I have to say the bottle fits to the design of my toilet area. But today when i blind bought the CDN Sillage (because i love SMW so much) i was amazed because now Armaf are doing Creed’s fragrances better than Creed. Same blackcurrant, same "inkiness," same quality, although the Creed is certainly a little smoother in the blend. The ginger gives it a nice spicy touch that presents itself near the end of the open and through the heart notes.
Personally I like to get whiffs throughout the day of my fragrance but that’s not the case with this one. The opening isn’t as synthetic or harsh as I was expecting at all (like CDNIM which is astoundingly strong and lemony then dries down to exactly like Aventus) this is much much more like the real creed at the opening with all the fruity floral notes and then the identical dry down smell.I thought I could barely smell them, but I was in fact told by other people that I was filling up the entire room. This EDP opens with zesty citrus and fruit notes that give way to more subtle florals before leaving a distinctly masculine aroma built around Wood and Musk. If you do, and you think you really want to wear it alot…as I mentioned, this will get you the closest to it.
