We discovered that Logitech's Options software supports Cloud Sync, as well as the ability to set different profiles for specific programs. As I jammed my way through word-counting tests, I easily surpassed 90 words per minute, matching what I get with my more familiar keyboards. The unit comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable, and Logitech says a 15-minute charge suffices for a day's use, while a full four-hour charge lasts up to 15 days (or 10 months with backlighting turned off). This keyboard also has a smaller size variant available, the MX Keys Mini, which we've reviewed separately. This is particularly useful if you're already vested in the Logitech ecosystem, as you only need one USB receiver to connect multiple peripherals to a computer. Naturally, its 828-gram footprint is heavier than the Mini (84 keys at 612 g) and requires a greater commitment of desk space.

It doesn't steal our Editors' Choice honors from the Razer Pro Type Ultra, because we think the white Razer is a tad better-looking, and we like that it comes with a wrist rest. Logitech claims that both MX Mechanical sizes will last between 15 days and 40 weeks (10 months) depending on whether you have backlighting turned on or off. The Apple Magic Keyboard 2017 and the Logitech MX Keys are both good, low-profile, wireless office keyboards.
