Really not sure where a couple of the reviews here are coming from, but certainly not my experience.Although the GoSea Vortex will happily take an adult up to approximately 95kg (approx 14 stone), it is also an excellent sit-on-top option for junior paddlers due to the ease of steering and light manoeuvrability. While out on the water, we overheard multiple couples asking each other when we would go back to shore because it was too rough.

since then I have recommended GoSea to two friends, one who has a perception Scooter but wanted a fishing kayak so got a GoSea Stealth (he prefers it to the scooter for all round paddling)and the other got the Compact like mine.We do consider ourselves to be by far the best value kayaks on the market in the UK today, but are extremely conscious that this is not achieved by compromising build and design quality.
