I own ‘em, an’ I wear ‘em, but I’m one of those blokes constantly chompin’ at the bit for it to get colder so I can wear me more dense and interestin’ stuff. In other words, it was not an attempt to capitalize on the name, it was a purposeful attempt to capitalize on a scent by making a fresher version. It could just be the passing of years, but my nose remembers more "aquatic accord" than the batch I recently bought - yet even back when it was introduced, I never would have said it was similar to Cool Water. The problem with that, is the end result ends up being a dilution of the first fragrance it's imitating.

Aqua Quorum is a fresh/fruity fougere that manages to be fun, youthful, outdoorsy, laid back, and energetic.

This refreshing summer scent consists of aromatic lavender and freesia followed by dynamic grapefruit and geranium.

The length in my is long ( very long on clothing ) and potent enough to be an " aquatic " perfume sillage . In the 90's this was my "poor man's" Polo Sport and I wore it in an office setting with great enjoyment. I have never smelled polo sport but own both wings and cool water and I see the comparisons with both.Q. has a light sprinkling of pine needles and precious woods, with the greener notes sparkling through the breezy top accord of lavender, grapefruit, and freesia, and the "blond woods" in the base yielding a transparent cedar note, presaging Quorum Silver, to come eleven years after. Usually it's not something super artistic or deep, but something that drags out old memories that we didn't even remember we had.
