The heat sinks are very nice, and I like how ASUS tries to tease you with the slight cutouts on the shield around the audio. ASUS utilise a 5-way optimisation system that allows you to hit single buttons to tune complex settings - for example, highly-controllable performance boosts!The topmost 1x slot is directly routed to the PCH, but the last 16x slot (4x electrical) and the other two PCI-E 1x slots share 4x of bandwidth.

ASUS uses a black chrome or nickel plated CPU retention mechanism to keep the CPU in the socket once you install it into position with ASUS' own CPU installation tool. Featuring a customised trace layout for reduced crosstalk and coupling noise, the ASUS 2nd generation T-Topology ensures time-aligned signal transfer for improved memory stability and compatibility. Of course more are supported mid board through the use of headers, but not everyone uses these in their builds and it would have been nice to see another 2 x USB 3. Now unfortunately, due to my connection being really powerful (Shout out BT) I didn’t notice much in terms of what Gamefirst has to offer.
