I was expecting this short to serve as an introduction to the relationship between Hirano and Kagiura seen in the manga series of the same name, since anime-only viewers do not know much about these characters, particularly Kagiura. But Hirano has genuinely been making Kagiura happy, even with the romantic feelings that Hirano has been associating with hurting Kagiura.
