My experience with BLH-1 copies was the early ones I bought (Kaster and Wasabi) were not fully "cloned" and only display the battery charge symbol. While it is more common with some third party batteries where the battery swells and is hard to remove, over my 20 year period of shooting digital cameras (mostly Olympus but also Panasonic), I have had batteries from Olympus and Panasonic also swell up in the camera.
