The Signature is a fruit forward expression of aged rum with aromas and notes of dried apricot, fresh peach and a subtle hint of sweet molasses.Our bins hold 18-24 bottles of wine or Champagne or 2-3 cases of lager when filled with ice and water. The pinnacle of Appleton’s current offering is perhaps the 25-year-old Joy Anniversary Blend, a rich, complex combination of rums aged for between 25 and 35 years. Distilled in pot and column stills and matured in Jamaica for at least 8 years, this rum is more spicier than its 12 year . Situated in the Nassau Valley, the beauty of nature surrounding the estate inspires Appleton’s rum recipes and makes them wonderfully unique.Out of all the sugar cane estates in Jamaica, the home of great rum, Appleton Estate is the most famous and longest-standing. Add to that a butterscotch and vanilla base, and you've got a fantastic Rum bursting with deep, complex flavour that is great for mixing or taking straight on ice. Appleton Special is a fine, medium-bodied golden rum, made up of full-flavoured traditional pot still rums and lighter character modern column still rums. This blend of pot and column still rums aged for a minimum of 8 years is made with Jamaican limestone-filtered water and no added flavours. Their Signature Blend contains a delicious mixture of different rums, aged between five and ten years, and is the flagship rum for Appleton Estate.

The 21 year old has been matured entirely in the tropical climate of Jamaica and weaves classic subtle tropical funk with dried fruits, coffee and spice characters. I havent had rum for quite some time but have loved this with ginger ale and also in a rum and chestnut cake!
