now that kind of stupidity is irreproachable, yet she is smart enough to understand the ins and out of ancient architecture, she can conjure up an amazing plan to catch a blackmailer, and FOOL THE TON-gaining entrance even into Almacks with status as a "Mistress" Sorry Quick but that is ridiculous. I was in the mood for some pretty, brainless lurff, and this book had it all-- in a rather larger dose than I could swallow.

Everything was just wrong with this book, but the straw that broke the camel's back was the fact that Iphiginia was so bloody ridiculous and so damn stupid to live.I won't give too much away but sexually naive heroine Iphigenia gets into trouble when she poses as an experienced paramour. I got an explanation for that in the end, but it only made me think that the blackmailer wasn't the brightest person in the world. To catch a blackmailer she pretends to be the mistress of Marcus the Earl of Masters a notorious man who has a list of rules a mile wide and whom she believes to be dead. I can be quite picky when doing a review of a romance novel and I am not going to do that with this book because I finally got almost everything I have asked for in the past from authors. But when Marcus agrees to play along with her charade, she doesn't know that the determined earl has plans of his to tease and tempt her, until the beautiful deceiver becomes more than his mistress in name only.

It may be difficult to access as it seems to be out of print and not in e book format but it would definitely be worth the effort to get a copy. H does occasionally ponder his many mistresses over the years-the type of woman he usually finds, but not enough to get on my nerves. Plus, Iphiginia was a blast of fun and I can forgive a lot of nonsense when I connect with the characters in a book.Im going to give her a piece of advice my mother gave me, If you don't know about sex you do not need to be having it. She has written under seven different names: Jayne Bentley, Amanda Glass, Stephanie James, Jayne Taylor, Jayne Castle, Amanda Quick and Jayne Ann Krentz. I loved Iphigenia's independence and I loved that there was no marketing statement about feminism here. I liked the woman that Iphiginia is, like an 18th century Nancy Drew, but I just found myself rolling my eyes every time an intimate moment arrived. Though this is an oldie, it remains one of my absolute favorites on that keeper shelf, and I really cannot find any fault in this book.

My favourite line of his: "You have taught me to break most of my other rules, Iphiginia, teach me to break this one, too", gorgeous! Both were stubborn and together they made me enjoy much witty arguments and electric chemistry that burned off-page. Our heroine is Iphiginia Bright, a strong independent intellect who has traveled the world, owns her own academy and business, and is fiercely protective of her loved ones. Die Behandlung der Beziehung zwischen Mann und Frau und der gesellschaftlichen Zwänge sind sehr aktuell trotz der Wahl der Autorin die Handlung in das vorgehende Jahrhundert zu stellen.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. Iphiginia and the earl quibble and caress their way through the rest of the life-threatening investigation. Amanda Quick can and I don't want to pick this apart because it offers me all the things I enjoy so much in romantic fiction. It seems that her Aunt Zoe has fallen victim to a sinister blackmailer and only Iphiginia can hope to stop the culprit before he can do more harm.

Point Of View (POV): This alternated between focusing mainly on Iphiginia and Marcus in 3rd person narrative.
