For this release, because it has a double dose of Jaden, the Ultra Rares will come in the colors of the 3 Duel Academy dorms: 2 red Ultra Rares for Slifer Red, 2 blue Ultra Rares for Obelisk Blue, and 2 standard Ultra Rares for Ra Yellow. Magicians’ Souls (Ultra-Rare, Lv1 Effect Monster): This card has been largely used in the past years on a lot of tournament-level decks and for good reasons. The compilation have been therefore designed for those who missed the original releases and for those who wants to strengthen their decks with more rare cards from this series. If a "Predaplant" monster(s) is on the field: Fusion Summon 1 DARK Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from either field as material, including 2 or more DARK monsters you control.

You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon 1 "Evil HERO" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Evil HERO Sinister Necrom". of 6 collectible dice, featuring “Dark Magician”, “Dark Magician Girl”, “Dark Magical Circle”, “Elemental HERO Neos”, “Hero Signal”, or “Junk Synchron”. It does not seem too spectacular although the card has a secondary effect that allows players to banish it from the GY and draw cards equal to the number of “Dark Magician”, and/or “Dark Magician Girl”, on the field and in the GYs. If this card is on the field or in your GY (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 other "Predaplant" monster from your GY, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; it loses 500 ATK.Once per turn, during the Standby Phase of the next turn after this card on the field was destroyed: You can target 1 "Moon Dragon Quilla" in your GY; Special Summon that target. When exactly 1 face-up Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster you control that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck is destroyed by battle, or an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon that destroyed monster, then destroy this card.

I think this is one of the aspects I love more about Legendary duelists collections as it pushes the need to get a deck with cards you love, not just those that could be stronger in a tournament.

If you have a Synchro Monster with "Warrior", "Synchron", or "Stardust" in its original name on your field or GY: You can make this card's Level become 4 until the end of this turn. If "Dark Magician" is Normal or Special Summoned to your field (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 card your opponent controls; banish it. Each year the collection focuses on different heroes and villains providing an opportunity to strengthen your existing deck or to start a new one based on your character of choice.
