Not that you can't wear it to the office, as there's nothing here to offend anyone in the carpool, elevator or tight office space. I don't see this being the most mass-pleasing scent but a unique take on an aquatic if you're getting bored of the more typical ones.

Bulgari Aqua Pour Homme EDT begins with bright and zesty Mandarin Orange and Blood Orange, given aromaticism by the addition of Petitgrain.Ozony and seaweedy notes dominated in the top phase, but they lingered throughout the middle and base phase as well, giving this perfume a steady, seductive, mouth watering blast of freshness. But thinking about it, yeh, is a bit like Nivea deodorant mixed with a little BO (but in a nicer way, lol). For a second in the very opening I actually thought of 212 for Men (which is also a floral men's perfume mainly on violets). The powderiness that I remember from the original remains, again less pronounced, in the current formulation.

It’s certainly not a bad fragrance, not by any stretch, it doesn’t smell bad, it just smells like so many other aquatic colognes, nothing makes it stand out from the crowd. But then, as much as I digged the OG, started to understand the Marine, being a fresher version of the OG; after smelling both, I guess I learned to appreciate the Marine.The sprayer also works surprisingly well, normally this type of design never sprays out even, generous amount of juice. I can see / smell the resemblance to Oud Minerale, but it's missing the salty sting from Oud Minerale which is what makes Tom Ford's fragrance unique. Also I find that Amara is a slightly less sweeter version of Aqva Marine with a similar performance to Atlantique as I also got about 12 hours plus out of that one.

In more descriptive terms, it opens with a mixture of salty aquatic and sweeter citrus (orange) notes.This cologne reminds me of a hot summers day at a sandy beach with the salty air hitting my nostrils and random mounds of fresh seaweed washed up on shore. I’m not sure I’d purchase this because I do feel it would put off some innocent bystanders, but I definitely understand this fragrance and think it’s well-made.
