On application, it was lightweight, smooth and had a liquid texture, meaning it was more able to achieve restoring my hair healthy and give it more of a bouncy curly texture than if I opted for a heavy creamy texture . I never used ANY products beyond the rare spritz of a leave in conditioner if my hair was particularly static-y, so learning how to take care of my hair without spending money I don't have has been quite the journey, and I still have more to learn.
