Along with The Three J’s, Bamboo Acres has some four-legged part owners. Angelina Jolie, their Rat Terrier child/dog, greets every guest personally upon arrival. Friendly outdoor cats are Leo, Mama Callie, and Boostie each have big personalities and will make appearances whenever they feel like it.

This area of Oregon, like much of the West coast right now, is under a severe drought advisory. Bamboo Acres takes water conservation seriously, and asks you to reasonably limit your time showering and to pee outside. Reservations & Your Stay It saddens me that the timing of these events means that our friendship has been irrevocably torn and I have begun to second-guess my response. I don't think of myself as the kind of person who would disappear when a close friend is experiencing enormous pain. My boyfriend says I did the right thing, that the timing of events is irrelevant and that my response was appropriate. But I would dearly love another opinion.

I’ve spent a good chunk of my life chasing validation. I wanted to show my parents, the classmates who bullied me, and the wider Catholic community which reeled upon hearing of my sexuality – in hushed voices, like dirty gossip about the lost, flamboyant sheep I was – that I can be everything they are, and more. I suggest you meet with him and have a frank talk. You might begin by saying that you care deeply about him but there are some things he has done that you find hard to accept. Maybe he can tell you something about what's been going on in his life, things that he has not mentioned, things that don't make him look good, things that will help you understand why he did the things he did.

At LBS, we have had a student-led LGBTQ+ network for 25 years, currently known as Out in Business. We have significant senior support: François speaks each year at EUROUT – Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ business school conference organised by our students; Susie Balch is our senior sponsor for PROUD@LBS, the LGBTQ+ and allies staff network; and Jane Gibbon has supported us in rejoining Stonewall and reviewing People team policies to ensure they are explicitly inclusive. The Pschorr-Bräurosl beer tent at Oktoberfest has been run by the Heide family (of local restaurant fame) since 1936 and is famous for two reasons: its stellar entertainment, and being the home of Oktoberfest’s Gay Sunday celebration—probably pretty entertaining in itself.Dogs are allowed, bitey dogs not. Most visitors to London’s gay and LGBTQ community visit Soho, which still hosts drag nights, mingling events, and so on. Spend a fun night partying in the area, which is centered on Old Compton Street, where you can enjoy a rowdy night at the long-running G-A-Y bar or a sip of cheap, unpretentious beer at pubs like The Admiral Duncan.
