I can’t watch it without cringing at myself for being a total loser, but someone did say to me afterwards: “There’s nothing more frightening than your own imagination.” There are lots of ways you can listen to Forth 2, you can find us on your good old traditional radio. I remember the Tay AM of the early 2000's when I was in my early '40's being the reason that I bought my first DAB radio. Sure, some songs were played a little bit too often..... Twilight Cafe by Susan Fassbender was one of them, but it had a really wide playlist and it wasn't being programmed by algorithms. This move is testament to our commitment to provide world-class facilities that will continuously offer unique and new experiences for our guests."

I can't see any.logic in not putting Mayo on in Scotland. They didn't do.it before because of the stupid local splits but they're not an issue anymore. With fellow Scot, Calvin Harris and Sam Smith currently topping the chart with their hit single Promises, there’s tough competition for BAMR. With the news last week on Stuart Webster moving to tay 2 and the greatest hits in Scotland. It got me wondering if this is a strategy so that regional studios are producing more than one show a day. We get involved in lots of fun events throughout the year including the annual Forth Awards, where we celebrate local heroes and musicians, and Forth on the Fringe, where we bring you the best acts of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Read more: He’ll replace Pat Sharp on weekends from April 8th, over the Bank Holiday weekend, starting each show with the Top 10 at 10. Dan and Grace have been given a go covering Saturday breakfast on clyde and forth and Grace has covered a few times on the network now.

In addition to the Half Moon (13 miles) and Full moon (26 miles), there were two new distances included this year – The New Moon (6 miles) and Over the Moon (52 miles). Grant Thomson and Ali Wright who have also covered for ewen and cat and boogie and Arlene in the past. Even cassi from clyde 1 with ali or grant would work well too. As well as taking the reins of weekend mid-mornings he will also be providing cover for Ken Bruce and for the appointment to listen radio that is PopMaster!I wonder if Cassi has in her contract 6 shows a week as obviously Clyde have that legacy local 12-4pm Sunday slot. Move Cassi to the 9-12 slot with a co-host and then they can align Clyde with rest of network 12-4?

Its a shame because I really love the presenters on Forth 1. I still set my morning alarm to Boogie In The Morning, and listen to Garry Spence on my drive home (Spence Vs Shazam is something I actually look forward to!). Bruno Mars – he is just the coolest man on the planet. I would probably end up going a bit fan-boy if it ever happened though. If we don’t do it for you maybe this will – a new breakfast cereal which the makers claim can boost your sex drive! I’m so happy with what we’ve created and how we’ve turned an 80s song into something relevant and relatable for today’s audience.

ARLENE is on holiday this week so Boogie is joined by Lynne Hoggan, who hosts the Forth One weekend overnight show. Because of the local hour count. Ewan and Cat is 4 hours , if Ken is in Scotland then 3 more plus Webster for 3 equals 10 and then they can take Simon mayo for drive. If Ken is not in Scotland they either need something else on AM or they are short of local hours. The final straw came last Friday when they decided to play Adeles new song every hour. It was just too much. We've now switched over to Pure Radio which seems to play a great selection of old and new music with very little repeats over the week.

I wouldn't be surprised if listeners in areas across Scotland and northern England were finding the same, and tuning elsewhere. If there's no local output, people will start to flip over to DAB and find a national station that plays the music they actually want to hear. There are lots of ways you can listen to Forth 1, you can find us on your good old traditional radio - we're on FM & DAB. I thought Garry Spence recorded from Forth as well? Just with Steven coming from Dunfermline. I know it's too far from Dunf to Glasgow but obviously closer to Edinburgh. Not sure where Garry lives but thought it was Edinburgh. They were even there to move the cow last week haha

Well at the moment they still can't put mayo on as they wouldn't meet the 10 hours from Scotland to meet the am requirements They need a Scottish drive show though not mayo in my opinion. Starting to look like drive won't be alan Edwards though. Wonder if an older voice from hits Scotland will make the move either Bowie or Boogie and Arlene. A wild card would be Fred macaulay on air every day This is not to take away from holly and gregor who I am sure are up and coming talent but definitely big shoes to fill taking over from a heritage brekkie show like wake up with Webster.
