To play an original warband, you can just buy the related box and all cards and abilities will be included. In the short story The Harrower in the Warcry Anthology, the newly appointed Blissful One Gravskein leads her warband of Unmade on a vision quest given to her in dreams by the Flayed King, the ancestor/Chaos aspect of the Unmade. The Excruciator Slash increases the range to 3″, loses a bit of Strength (3) but he is also the cheapest option. Sloppity Bilepiper is the fastest leader (only behind the Plague Drones and Nurglings) with 4″ Movement. His special ability however solves the other problem of the warband outside of Strength: Movement! For a Double he can increase of 1″ the Movement of all friendly fighters nearby.

The Fellspear adds 2″ range to the equation, something you don’t really need on a Varanguard and 2/6 damage compared to the Ensorcelled Weapon. They used to be what the lore calls “philosopher kings”, humans dedicated to knowledge and wisdom, but as the forces of the undead came close to destroying them, they turned to Chaos to survive.Toll the Sonorous Tocsin (Double, Putrid Blightking with Sonorous Tocsin): Add 1 to the Move characteristic of friendly fighters that start the action within 7”. The Screamers of Tzeentch are another flying unit with an impressive movement of 12”. Their main ability, Latching Bite, allows them to improve their Strength characteristic (from 4 to a potential 7).
