We're hoping that there are people out there that have always been curious about game design that will use these promotional components to make something awesome. It is the tale of five strong women over 3 time periods whose lives are connected by one garden in England. The Last Garden in England by Julia Kelly is captivating historical fiction, which takes place in a country well-known for its beautiful gardens.It was impossible to read their stories without feeling empathetic to their plights and without cheering them on their final pages. But still an uplifting book on how the world works better even when humans are trying to destroy it. Those who appreciate historical fiction, those who admire gardens, and those who enjoy timeless love stories, will all come under its spell. It took quite a bit to get to know the characters, but once I got my bearings with the characters, I fell in love with them.

There are lots of people, multiple romances to track, and too many of the characters didn't seem particularly distinctive to me.The dual timelines, a beautiful setting, compelling storyline that draws you in, and fascinating characters that I feel hold all the secrets to the past. I'll admit that it took me a bit to distinguish Venetia and Emma whose lives overlap a bit with their similar careers and romantic connections, but it didn't take long for each character - Venetia, Emma, Stella, Beth and Diana - to show their unique personalities as they find their voices, strength and resiliency despite the limitations put upon them by society and their differing social status. The Last Garden in England explores the unexpected connections that can cross time and the special places that can bind us together in unbreakable bonds. The tangled lives which develop as a result of creating, maintaining, being alongside or bringing back to life the Highbury House garden make for an entertaining story, against the history of each period.
