About this deal
I have favorites… mostly on the peaty side… but I always feel like stepping away from some favorites, because… when you go back they become all the better.
I have also done a side by side comparison of this Singleton release against the Glenfiddich 12 yo whisky.
Has a nice nose and the initial flavour has hints of dried fruit; it’s all let down by a terribly bitter after taste. A traditional hip flask inspires the unique bottle shape of The Singleton of Dufftown, while the glass’s colour reflects the blue flint glass used at the turn of the previous century.
This may affect nutrition and allergen information therefore you should always check product labels and not rely solely on the information presented here. As a part of our ongoing commitment to reduce our environmental impact, The Singleton has installed a new weir and fish pass in the river Dullan that feeds the Dufftown distillery ?
A straightforward, nutty and malty single malt from Speyside, the Singleton of Dufftown was released to replace the Singleton of Auchroisk. Singleton is produced by the Dufftown distillery, which is located in the small Speyside town of Dufftown. The Singleton of Dufftown has an aroma of toasted nuts with rich fruits, with hints of blackcurrant, brown sugar and coffee on the palate - before an elegantly drying and crisp finish.
