The only unfortunate note here is that there seems to be a touch of dark chocolate that has appeared near the finish, and it adds some unnecessary bitterness to the spirit which lingers for a while after the spirit is gone. Goslings is now working on some other limited-release bottlings, like a special barrel-finished rum.
