About this deal
The LED for connection quality indicates the quality of the Wi-Fi connection of the first device to connect to the FRITZ!
Yesterday I decided to bite the bullet and bought a Fritz Repeater 3000 from PLE, the last one in Perth. Better dynamic smart repeating provides higher data throughputs for devices that are connected with the FRITZ! Registered office: Klarna UK Limited, 7th Floor, 33 Cavendish Square, London, W1G 0PW, United Kingdom. I have just set this up, but once I turn off the Repeater at the power point, and turn it on again, it just wont connect to the wifi again. This guarantees an uninterrupted connection when changing the end device from the connection between router and repeater, even videos or music continue to run smoothly.
Und falls schon Kabel liegen, kann der Repeater alternativ in der Betriebsart LAN-Brücke über ein vorhandenes Netzwerkkabel oder mithilfe eines Powerline-Adapters mit dem Router verbunden werden. Guess make sure WPS is not disabled on the FritzBox (I think that was an option), possibly patch the fw of the 3000 first and I assume it could still be setup via old fashioned Ethernet cable either connected to the FritzBox or a laptop for setup. I've also not tried turning it off and on again, but I did have it do a reboot which is almost the same thing. Being a mesh device it gets all its settings from the main unit (pc police say that we can't use the term master/slave these days ;) ). If you want to connect it manually, proceed as described in the guide Manually connecting the FRITZ!
or just not possible to manually turn on the wi-fi of the 3000 without it being connected via cable. When I first powered it up on the original, current stable firmware, I connected it up to my 7590 using WPS as per the supplied guide, page 8. Perhaps a factory defaults reset of the 3000 , then remove it from the MESH and re-imclude it using WPS on both your 3000 and 7490.
