This week certainly pushed the Sewing Bees to the limit and as always we admired their sheer determination and ability to master brand new techniques under such huge time pressure! Task One: Sewing a Lined Swimsuit What could be more fun than sewing a party outfit for a little one? Sewing a party outfit for myself (did I just say that out loud?!) As a selfish sewer I've made very little for other people, but I must admit some of the cute outfits the Bees produced had me tempted to sew for my nieces. What a lovely bunch of people, what an inspiring programme and what a refreshing and welcome change from the usual TV schedule. One of the important things to get right is the interfacing and tapes you use to help you create the shape and structure required.
