About this deal

This is a Swedish/Norwegian candy bar. It is chocolate and has a caramel center that is lightly crunchy and includes almonds. The bar was created by a company called Marabou in Sweden. The product was released in 1950. This was always intended to be a product made to compete with the Heath Bar, which was very popular at the same time. Like other mint varieties, Chocolate mint is rich in vitamins A and C as well as trace amounts of manganese. Its essential oils have been known to combat nausea, cramping and indigestion. 3. Why do they call it chocolate mint? Before I list everything you can have, as there are lots of gluten free chocolatey goodies out there, here's a note about some products that aren't gluten free that I always get asked about. And I mean I get asked A LOT about them, if I think of any others I will also tag them on - Morrisons have a limited range of their own brand but do have some gluten free choices plus a range of free from chocolate in the free from aisle

The other variants with unique flavors might have different ingredients. This is the ingredient list for the basic bar, which is the fundamental recipe behind the other bars. Daim Bar Nutrition Serving Size: Ingredients: Always read the label. Sugar, palm oil, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, blanched almonds (3%), whey powder (from milk), skimmed milk powder, milk fat, whey permeate powder (from milk), sweetened condensed skimmed milk, salt, emulsifier, ( soya lecithins) flavourings. For those who want a candy bar that is not that sweet, this might not be a great choice. This is a very sweet candy bar and one that a sweet lover will gobble up. For those that love a more bitter chocolate or a slightly more mellow toffee, this might be a bit of a sweet bar. Pictures of Daim Bar DAIM BAR DAIM BAR FUN SIZE Daim Bar Commercials Many of these specialty bars are not currently sold and were only offered briefly in limited markets. The variations that are offered in the UK and Ireland are often quite different than what is offered in other markets. Many people report that the Daim bar is very crunchy and hard in the center. It breaks with a snap, and the layer of thin chocolate on the outside is buttery soft and very enjoyable. It is unique when compared to other similar bars because it is so thin and delicate. Being able to snap the bar easily and crunch on it a piece at a time is really enjoyable. I hope this blog helps you understand what chocolate is out there and safe but also there's some info on alternatives to products that aren't safe. There will be some that I have missed no doubt but will add them on when I find them!

Tesco have a fair few gluten free options when it comes to their home brands unlike some of the others.A few galaxy products are gluten free, many hold a may contain warning but there are a few products that are safe. Like with Cadbury there are multiple factories so it depends which factory the product is made in. Many Kinder products are safe, the obvious ones that aren't gluten free are the Bueno bars and Happy Hippos as they both contain wafers. A famous 1995 television commercial (directed by John Lloyd) [4] for the chocolate bar in the United Kingdom featured the comedian Harry Enfield, in which a salesman describes the Daim bar as "smooth on the outside, crunchy on the inside", while a customer says he prefers armadillos, which are "smooth on the inside, crunchy on the outside." [5] [6] [7] Another successful commercial campaign was launched in 1996, and featured a spoof of Raiders of the Lost Ark. An unnamed adventurer uses a Daim bar to avoid triggering a death trap in an ancient temple, only to then return for the chocolate bar and take his chances with the crumbling structure. [8] In 2005, the spelling in the UK and Ireland was changed to "Daim", in line with the rest of the world. [9] Kit Kat No, normal KitKats are not gluten free. However, the bunnies and santas that come out each year are gluten free, they have wafer bits in made from rice flour. You can get chocolate free from wafers in Tesco down the free from aisle too.
