It offers a lot of viewing angle creativity, allowing me to make unique and captivating GoPro bike videos. The GoPro Helmet Mount is the best helmet mount for biking because it’s easy to use and provides an excellent point of view. Since you place it on your helmet, the viewing angle is just a little higher than eye level. Therefore, it offers a beautiful vantage point where you can see the entire scenery and terrain ahead of you. There’s actually two different GoPro mounts offered by KOM. The bundle tested and shown here is the CM06 computer mount, which is different than their other mounts in that it has the quarter-turn tabs built into the bottom of it. On the downside, the PGYTECH is nearly double the price of the Forevercam Handlebar Mount. For this reason, it might not be the best choice for budget-conscious bikers.

In terms of setup, it takes a few seconds to clamp the mount to your handlebars. It fits any round tube from 0.87 to 1.38 inches. However, you can also attach the mount to reflective mirrors with a diameter ranging from 0.27 to 0.63 inches. What’s the benefit? That depends on the shot you want…if we’re being honest, chest and helmet cams provide a bit better perspective for both riding and following someone. But with the latest action cameras offering incredibly good stabilization and wide angles, getting good follow-cam footage from the handlebar is entirely possible.

Best of all, this mount provides smooth GoPro footage even when biking through rough terrain. This mount is built with aluminum alloy and plastic, making it virtually indestructible but incredibly lightweight as well. In comparison to the Forevercam Handlebar Mount, the PGYTECH Mount offers better build quality and stability. Therefore, you should choose this option if you want a more premium GoPro handlebar mount. The main criticism I have about the GoPro Hand + Wrist Strap is its relatively high price point compared to other options on today’s list. Furthermore, wearing this mount for extended periods of time can be uncomfortable since your GoPro hangs off your wrist. Nonetheless, this is an incredibly fun GoPro bike mount I highly recommend to all bikers.
