And do you know what is beautiful and sad at the same time? It's that it doesn't even feel like a fiction book. This situation where kids are left to live in trash while their political leaders live in extreme wealth has existed, still exists and will undoubtedly continue to exist. It is so easy to close your eyes and not look at the millions of images of poor children in developing countries. So easy to look away from what is happening to the majority of the world population. Andy Mulligan not only makes us look at these kids but he makes see how wrong we are to ignore them. They have strictly nothing and yet they have everything: courage, wit, strength, faith, loyalty and honesty (not in the not-telling-lies kind of way). These kids are made of awesome. I say maybe because I could see low level boys enjoying it.

This book is just wonderful. Despite the connotation of the word, Trash is far from being, well, trash. It’s more of a gem actually, if I may say. So what made me want to read this book? Curiosity. Who wouldn’t be curious about a novel that is about his own country? With these, I’ll tell you in three parts the reasons why I like this book : the setting, the characters, the plot.

This was one of the banned books my library had as a suggested read for teens. I read it with my children. The characters weren't really developed enough for me. And the book is told through the different characters POV which I usually like. This book was totally different from anything else I have read so far this year. It hit on a variety of topics which made me think and was generally a nice read. The chase leads them throughout the city, exposing the great disparity between the "haves" and the "have nots," and the huge injustice this represents. They face moral dilemmas throughout and, ultimately, make good decisions. Their intelligence and characters make the condition in which they live seem even more unfair Kristin Anderson, School Library Journal Trash ট্র্যাশ যার আভিধানিক অর্থ আবর্জনা। লেখক অ্যান্ডি মুলিগান এর বসবাস দক্ষিন লন্ডনে। ট্র্যাশ বইটি লেখক এর সবচে জনপ্রিয় বই বলা যায়। তো বইটি সত্যি খুব উপভোগ্য ছিল। নান্দনিক একটি গল্প ছিল, গল্পের প্লট ছিল অসাধারন। বিভিন্ন ব্যাক্তির কনফেশন এর মাধ্যমে গল্পটি এগিয়ে গেছে। আবর্জনার ভাগারে টোকাইদের নিয়ে সত্যি চমৎকার একটি গল্প লেখক সাজিয়েছন। সবচে ভালো লেগেছে গল্পের শেষ অংশে কবরস্থান এর ঘটনাটা। গতানুগতিক থ্রিলার এর মতো টুইস্ট, বা সাসপেন্স না থাকলেও গল্পে বলার স্টাইল এবং কাহানী পেক্ষাপট আকর্ষন এর কেন্দ্রবিন্দু। সর্বাপরি বলা যা যে ভালো লেগেছে খুব।
