About this deal

Hi, I've read through this whole thread to try and establish which device I should buy for a Three unlimited data SIM. I need some help deciding please I have it all set up in my Fritz.box which is good on VOIP, but when I was testing the B525 I simply plugged the phone into it, and used the same provider for incoming and outgoing. It worked beautifully. Hi Rob. I work in this industry, and use LTE in both UK and Europe. I am involved with support of Huawei LTE kit, but forgive me if my post seems like I'm some kind of expert (I'm not) - just giving my honest observations! You might be better offer getting one of EE's new 4GEE Home Routers and then calling them up to ask if they can also install the antenna. I had no trouble using the local file firmware upgrade, but I did that to get bridge mode, which doesn't work. I needn't have bothered.

If it was me I would figure out what bands are actually available locally and their signal strength (e.g. by using an app to step through each band, on both routers).

More and more network providers in the world are upgrading their LTE network to LTE-advanced with carrier aggregation technology. Consequently, LTE terminals are demanded by the carriers and end users. As we had introduced before, the Huawei E5186 LTE router is the world’s first LTE-advanced router for LTE Category 6, and it was available in the market for almost two years. Katso ohje reitittimen ohjelmistoversion tarkistamiseen Nettiyhteyden muodostaminen wifillä ei onnistu The game changes completely when you add in ANY other band, sometimes possible with external antenna. Trying to work out the best router for this combo and any potential future ones if ee upgrade to include 2600mhz too - i dont think this is likely in the short term tho. First of all You must force band to connect with propper BTS and then change band to that allows aggregate bands - thats all.

Undlad at indsætte eller fjerne et mikro-SIM-kort, når routeren kører, da dette kan påvirke ydeevnen eller beskadige mikro-SIM-kortet. EE have 1800mhz on a mast (double speed) assuming that means 2 carriers on band 3? What would this be classed as intra or inter band? If that's the case and all the device is doing is looking for is signal quality then why does what I describe above work, and work every time? So I posted a few weeks ago about the B535 for home broadband. I just setup the B535 with three today (brighton). A little underwhelming in performance at around 24-31 down and 4-12 up. I had hoped the local mast had B20, B32 and with CA the perf might be a fair bit above this. Since I'm only looking initially at a temporary option for an unknown number of months - 1? 12? who knows - I think the 535 (79 on a 1 month contract) is the best option. Will be a shame to KNOW I could do better though.

Din router har dårligt signal til mobilnetværket. Flyt routeren til at et sted med bedre signal, gerne ved et vindue. Very rarely will an indoor antenna, even with good quality low loss cable, provide much improvement as any close object will adversely effect the fresnel zone of the LTE signal, even roof joints or roof tiles. Far better performance will come from mounting an external antenna and experimenting with location - even a small change (few inches) can have a major impact on performance - which will in turn provide the best possible throughput. I have a directional antenna, because I have clear line of sight to more than one base station. Works brilliantly: signal level mostly varies between >=-51 and -55dBm, SINR usually around 10dB to 13dB but sometimes it drops to 0. I've tried this Today but can't seem to boot the router into USB mode, it just boots into standard mode. Is there some indication when it's in USB mode? I keep the pins bridged for about 45 seconds but the lights follow the normal sequence. I'm assuming it's the pads labelled Boot and Ground in the picture?

This is interesting! Is there a simple list somewhere specifying which bands are best (most capacity) on different UK networks? This seems to suggest as the manual states that B1+B3 is NOT possible on the 23a model of the B525. Dissapointing. Maybe this is why Three are now using the B535 - however cannot find spec sheet to see if B1 + B3 is possible. CA_1A-3A, CA_1A-7A, CA_1A-8A, CA_1A-20A, CA_1A-28A, CA_1A-38A, CA_1C, CA_3A-7A, CA_3A-8A, CA_3A-20A, CA_3A-28A, CA_3A-32A, CA_3A-38A, CA_3C, CA_7A-7A, CA_7A-8A, CA_7A-20A, CA_7A-28A, CA_7A-32A, CA_7C, CA_20A-32A, CA_20A-38A, CA_38CThe Cell ID on the router is 2946818 and the router itself is the 23a. I got the number 11511 after the putting the CellID number into cellmapper, in a vague attempt to try to work out which mast I was connecting to. Is there anyway to fix the router to B3....or doesn't it quite work as simple as that? To be honest I'm out of my depth with this at this level, so advice at rookie level is appreciated.

Once set up, there’s a lot to like here. The B535 WebBox can get up to 64 devices online at once, which ismore than most people should need. It’s also a match for the Three 4G Hub, the Three 5G Hub, and the likes of the 4GEE Home Router 2, as well as topping the Vodafone GigaCube 4G. Maximum size for each attachment is 10MB (rar, jpg, zip, pdf, war, txt, docx, doc, png, mp3, mp4, xls, xlsx, gif, jpeg are supported). In reply to a post by smithbill:my B525 is 18months oldI don't believe his is much younger, I think I recall him saying he bought it around the summer of 2018 and the firmware and UI versions haven't changed since his had it.

As such, you might want to consider the new Three 4G Hub or another network option instead, as it might not cost more overall, and in the case of the Three 4G Hub you’ll get higher speeds. The ISP (or mobile operators in this case) are modding the soft from something. I thought it was the default soft... The router doesn't know which is fastest I don't think so can hop onto a stronger signal that's slower. For me it's over 50% success for it dwelling on the faster band after a reboot; don't know why it does this. The B525 with Cat.6 2x2 MIMO is PERFECT for you, and money thrown at the B618 will yield no improvement in speed; put the saving towards an antenna.
