About this deal

After 3 weeks I wanted to see if the Yakult drinks I tried and failed with before would work better alongside Alflorex. I’d really not recommend it, it just exhausts your gut and makes digestion even more difficult than before. There are more than 250 non-authorised claims for probiotic products on the EU Register for nutrition and health claims, a few common ones include: In addition to containing powerful probiotics, some supplements also contain prebiotics. These are plant fibers that humans cannot digest, but that bacteria can consume as food. The most common types are lactulose, inulin and various oligosaccharides ( 38). Marketing materials say it " is the #1 Gastroenterologist recommended probiotic culture in the U.S.” This claim is based on a survey performed in 2017 among doctors and/or gastroenterologists who recommended a brand of probiotic by a human data service company, AlphaImpactRx. Marketing materials also state that it is the winner of awards from Irish pharmacists and industry experts, who voted it the winner of Best Gastrointestinal Product for 3 years in a row at the Irish Pharmacy News OTC (over-the-counter) Awards. Some bacterial strains used in probiotic supplements can produce histamine inside the digestive tract of humans ( 19, 20, 21).

The word ‘probiotic’ is not allowed to appear on products sold within the EU as no health claims have been accepted as proven when the evidence has been assessed by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). There's some evidence that probiotics may be helpful in some cases, such as helping to ease some symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). And there's likely to be a huge difference between the pharmaceutical-grade probiotics that show promise in clinical trials and the yoghurts and supplements sold in shops. There are 3 different formulations of this probiotic supplement as of January, 2019: capsules, straws, and chewables. Probiotics are safe for the majority of the population, but side effects can occur. The most common side effects are a temporary increase in gas, bloating, constipation and thirst.

Similarly, yeast-based probiotics should not be taken by those with yeast allergies. Instead, a bacteria-based probiotic should be used ( 33). So our focus is on investing to find the best bacterial culture for each specific gut action. We then put each through a rigorous series of tests, culminating in clinical trials in the UK and Europe. Kefir, kimchi, kombucha – supermarket shelves are filling with so-called ‘gut-friendly’ probiotic products. But can they really transform your health, or are you just flushing money down the drain? So far so good. No side effects. Must be working fine since I don't have any discomfort. I haven't noticed anything spectacular, but I've only had it for a little while. I'll have to give it a few more weeks...” – February 2, 2018

This process creates redness and swelling in the affected area, and can also trigger allergy symptoms such as itching, watery eyes, runny nose or trouble breathing.I use Alflorex every day and have for years for my IBS and really notice a difference if I don't take it. The delivery and subscription service from Precision Biotics is excellent! Would highly recommend.
