About this deal

Monitor is wall-mounted so I can't comment on the stand but I did feel it and it is a solid beefy stand. The only review I've found that did a horrendous job at pursuit photography (and the only current review) of the AW2523HF is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNiLwUBmND8

inch monitors are pretty standard nowadays, but the Alienware AW2521H isn’t the most compact in its class. The stand’s V-shaped base needs ten inches of depth, but at least it leaves a lot of room in between the two pegs. The monitor’s unique shape is to blame, but it’s what gives the product its distinct Alienware identity. With monitors like this, you often have to compromise in terms of image quality and viewing angles, but that’s not the case here. Acer didn’t cut any corners here, which is why you’re looking at an IPS panel with excellent viewing angles and overall color reproduction. The key is to find the perfect balance between the panel size and the resolution. With a 360Hz monitor, that’s usually a 24” or a 25” panel, with a 1080p resolution. This is a match made in heaven because you won’t be able to distinguish individual pixels, everything will look sharp and crisp, and it’s still a fairly large panel. You can learn more about monitor sizes here. Panel type if u are a serious competitive player, g-sync/freesync should always be turned off. I've tested this on a multitude fo games and the input lag penalty while capping the FPS to 237 is not worth it.Game Enhance includes timers and a frame rate indicator. There’s no aiming point here, but there is one in the AlienVision menu. It’s huge at almost four inches across. Clichés about hitting the side of a barn are now struggling to get through…

The Alienware AW2521H is a fantastic choice for E-Sports fans since it’s incomparably fast except for one other monitor, the PG259QN. The monitor offers a color-accurate IPS panel out of the box that doesn’t show signs of blurring or ghosting which makes it fantastic at fast-paced games like CSGO or even Warzone. It is also one of the best-looking display products out there, making it a great centerpiece for your sophisticated battle station at home. The Dell Alienware AW2521H is a rapid 360Hz gaming monitor aimed at high-end competitive gamers. Image Quality

This depends on your specific computer setup, but generally, you’ll want to have as many adjustments as possible with your monitor. Swivel and tilt are two things that most, if not all modern monitors have, but some of the better ones can also rotate, and adjust by height.Specifications Size: 24.5” | Panel: Fast IPS | Resolution: 1920 x 1080 | Refresh Rate: 360Hz | Response Time: 1ms (GTG)

Could you perhaps get into the service menu and tell us which panel it has? And do some testUFO ghosting tests at 960pps or 1440pps at max refresh rate! Thanks! Note that the monitor can also support 10-bit color depth, in which case you’re limited to 300Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 without chroma subsampling. HDR is supported by three modes: Desktop (the most accurate), Movie, and Game. The latter two add visible edge enhancement, so I do not recommend them. If you turn off Smart HDR, the AW2523HF will not switch modes when an HDR10 signal is applied. The user can program the five shortcut keys for a variety of functions. Plus, you can toggle through the AlienVision options without going into the OSD if you want. Calibration Settings for Alienware AW2523HF it's not 1ms response time. it's really closer to 3ms response time. THe extreme overdrive is equivalent to the standard overdrive if g-sync is on.As the name may suggest, this is a 24.5” display, and it comes with a resolution of 1920×1080. This isn’t anything to write home about, because this size and resolution is pretty much standard when it comes to gaming. What is pretty great is the refresh rate – 360Hz means a new frame every 2.78 seconds, and if your reaction times are on point, you’ll love it. It gets you smooth gameplay and with a 1ms response time, the monitor will display the new frames pretty much instantly. When I play Apex Legends and cap in game fps at 237 it runs really well. I'm very pleased. I was previously using a XB241H Predator from ASUS that was a 144hz TN panel. This one looks better and is very responsive. This is a subjective statement from me. I realize response time and input lag are very objective debates on here. I'm not trying to wade in.
