About this deal

TC Electronic have got a long and rich history in the music industry and all of this experience has led to the company growing year on year as they continue to push the boundaries of guitarpedals and basscabs. Range Of TC Electronic Products I am very happy with my setup and I’ll be even happier once the Evolution gets here but I am still chasing the CN studio tone. It doesn’t need to be exact but I just love that huge edgy sound that is irresistibly smooth. The way the Spark is voiced in the bass (80Hz from my rudimentary testing) and the voicing of the MID (and the FAT to a lesser extent) settings make it just about the perfect low gain bass drive. It's voiced right where need it to be in terms of the EQ points and adds enough to the overall signal in terms of gain/drive to just about perfectly nail that edge of break up or more valve like furry tone which lets us sit in the mix with enough drive to blend in but not lose the essence of a good bass tone.

of breach by you (during the term of this Agreement) of any of your obligations under the present Agreement. IndemnificationI've just started rehearsing and gigging again and I've been enjoying using the Trapper, the B3K v2 and the Spark in various ways. I also nabbed a new to me Fender Rumble 210 combo so I've had a lot of gain options!! For Low gain I can emulate the Rumble's built in drive (which is really quite decent) with all three pedals but I prefer to use the Spark as an always on sound just pushing as eloquently described by Lozz and then I can switch to either the B3K or trapper for more drive - each providing their own colour and tones. The Trapper is great at the more vintage and amp like while the B3K take it up a notch if needed. I know that I don’t play in the same league as you all with your tube amps and vintage pedals, but I am very glad with it.

It needs to be a transparent, mids scooped booster like a Buffalo FX Powerbooster, TC Electronics Spark Booster or similar. Set the EQ on the pedal neutral, the volume slightly above unity and the gain as high as possible without the amp starting to break up.part of the Software that are otherwise owned by Music Tribe shall always remain the exclusive property of Counter intuitively, it sounds like the EQ pedal may be closer to what you want. A boost typically is used to push the front end of an amp and by doing so, there is a change in amp response. Normally, this is a boost in mid frequencies and a reduction in bass. If you want to keep the same sound only louder you probably have to boost the signal AND change the EQ. You will probably want to cut some of the mid frequencies but which ones and by how much - you would need to figure out. Don't let the Spark Mini's single control fool you; although it works perfectly as a clean booster, a slight tweak of the control will reveal a world on sizzling sweet spots! Termination of this Agreement will not limit any of Music Tribe's rights or remedies at law or in equity in case

Software or outside the scope of this Agreement shall be considered an infringement of Music Tribe's Other interrogations I have is that I have to rebuild (and so rebuy…) some pedals and so i was going to go step by step, starting with an overdrive pedal and a Big Muff (and a clean boost ? Do you think it is necessary to start with ? I it is which one would you advise ?), but after narrowing it to few choices I am still hesitating : I’m not a big fan of the send/return effects loop on amps but a great tip is to place a transparent booster in the loop (if your amp has one). When you crank the gain on your amp, you’re boosting the pre-amp, which adds overdrive but it will also make your amp sound thinner. The fatness sits in the output stage but this can only be boosted by playing loud. However, placing a booster in the loop, will drive the output stage harder, without actually raising the volume.I'd agree with what's already been said but I've been through quite a few overdrive pedals including the Spark, Mojo Mojo and Vintage Microtubes and find that generally it comes down to your setup and personal taste (hence me getting through a lot of pedals to try them out) as it's is mainly 'what's your favourite sound' which is very subjective and quite difficult to compare like-for-like via youtube videos. The reason I got rid of them were: Spark had no mid control and I had another pedal that did similar low gain OD and included mid control, Mojo Mojo was a bit 'grainy/synthy' for me compared to the Blueberry Bass Queen Bee that replaced it for me, Vintage microtubes added a bit of higher frequency 'clank' that I wasn't keen on. And do I have to keep the EQ controls on the amp in flat position if I use an EQ pedal with same settings in the loop? In the Division bell section, it seems not clear to me How David combines Big Muff (or RAT) with the tube drivers or the Soft Sustain…. If, within thirty (30) days of posting changes or amendments to this Agreement, you decide that you do not Unless you are running at very low volume, Orange amps tend to have fairly limited headroom and distort in both pre amp and power amp, so there will always be the danger that all you do with either pedal type is increase distortion. Whichever pedal you go for, better results might be had by putting it in the effects loop where it would only effect the power amp section.

This Agreement will terminate immediately, without prior notice from Music Tribe, if you fail to comply with nevertheless, your articles are always very helpful Bjorn, and I hope someday to be able to play on a real amp again :)Agreement; or (iv) your Agreement or relationship with an Organization (if applicable) or any third party. you hereunder.
