About this deal

This upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries from the MKIII Tactical Squad set with shoulder pads bearing the hydra symbol of the Alpha Legion. The kit includes 10 shoulder pads, each bearing a raised, sculpted icon that makes them simple to paint in the Legion’s signature colours, with a heavy, reinforced design to fit in with MKIII ‘Iron Armour’. Spread these components around your army and combine them with transfers to capture that signature XX Legion aesthetic, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look. Alpha Legion MKIV Torsos: February 3rd, 2023 The Raven Guard are a Codex-Compliant chapter and follow those guidelines when it comes to company colors/shoulder pad trim and markings. They use white gothic script on the left knee pad for squad number. One thing to note with Raven Guard however is the way they do their battlefield role designations – rather than using solid white Shapes Raven Guard use white outlines to denote the unit’s battlefield role.

By Wing & Talon: All Legiones Astartes (Raven Guard) gain a certain special rule, depending on the type of unit. Infantry (except for Terminators or Jump Infantry) gain Fleet and Infiltrate . Jump Infantry, Bikes/Jetbikes and Terminator armoured Infantry gain Furious Charge.I had great fun painting this, working in three pieces – the body and the two arms – made it easier to get to all those hard-to-reach places. I undercoated it with Leadbelcher , as the metal areas were a bit harder to reach, with the glorious blue of the XIII Legion being added carefully after all the metal was fully painted – using Macragge Blue as a basecoat, Basilicanum Grey as a shade, and then three successive highlights of Altdorf Guard Blue , Calgar Blue , and finally Fenrisian Grey . Ed: Dark Angels A Techmarine is points efficient, durable, and can repair the Redemptor Dreadnought for D3 lost Wounds a turn. This isn’t just narratively fitting for an Iron Hands force, but a great combo with their Chapter Tactics – every single Wound you heal is worth 1/6th more.

The Raven Guard come from the moon Deliverance, they were the XIX Legion from the original Space Marine Legions. They barely survived the outbreak of the Horus Heresy and had to live through horrifically extreme conditions to make it this far, this has made them into a deadly and ruthless legion that will stop at nothing, even death, to win a battle._x000D_ I am an indifferent painter at best, so the obvious choice was a Chapter featuring a lot of white, the hardest colour for Space Marine armour. The Mentor Legion have not historically mustered in strength, being too busy swanning around the galaxy teaching other Imperial forces how to shoot straight and so forth, but the Leviathan threat is clearly so enormous that they’re now deploying as an army. With Space Marines being the bread & butter of 40k forces, and with recent complaints of GW’s ongoing price inflations – This is a fantastic way of getting hands-on with a larger force for a little less. Ok, let’s get on with it. Space Marine Battleforces – Price, Value & Savings Assumptions This upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries with shoulder pads bearing the raven symbol of the Raven Guard. The kit includes 10 shoulder pads, each bearing a raised, sculpted icon that makes them simple to paint in the Legion’s signature colours, with a studded rim design appropriate to MKII ‘Crusade Armour’. Spread these components around your army and combine them with transfers to capture that signature XIX Legion aesthetic, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look. Thousand Sons MKVI Heads: January 21st, 2023 Corax is 450 pts, with a normal Primarch statline augmented by WS 7 and I 7. He is the Sire of the Raven Guard , giving + 1 I and + 1 S on the charge (for a mighty I 8 S 7!) and grants Legiones Astartes (Raven Guard) the Acute Senses rule, and gives them a flat 6” for Run moves while he is on the table. This is a nice flat buff and segues nicely with the existing RG rules. The Darkwing is not a unit with an official model, but is an interesting modification on the existing Storm Eagle model. I have personally never seen one “in the wild”, but they are quite a cool concept. Weighing in at 275 pts, they have the standard Storm Eagle stats, along with Stealth and Outflank (quite handy!), and a Vengeance launcher with Eclipse Missiles. These are, in my view, a “hidden killer” (see what I did there) – on paper they look quite expensive and maybe not that good, but in practice… well. They can absolutely blend the enemy.
