About this deal

If like me you want ‘salon performance results with out the added irritation’…Read on! An allergy friendly hair care range that delivers

Perfumes, sulphates, parabens, colours and phthalates are almost always present in shampoos, conditioners and washes, which can all result in irritation and allergic reactions so up until now I’ve sacrificed the state and condition of my hair in a bid to avoid my skin and scalp reacting. There’s some benefits to the use of sodium laureth sulfate in our formulation too. Sodium laureth sulfate helps oil and water-based ingredients, which generally don’t mix, to become dispersed. It is perfect for use in haircare because it is a paste and it makes a beautiful light lather, which helps the hands work the product through the hair with ease. Do we need our shampoo to lather? Apply shampoo to wet hair, massage into scalp and work through to the ends. Repeat as necessary to deep cleanse the hair. Rinse well. Style as normal.I’m the girl that takes her own shampoo to the hairdressers to minimise reactions. I’m the girl that always washes her hair over the bath instead of in the shower to minimise reactions. I’m the girl that hasn’t used proper hairspray since her teens, to minimise reactions. Sadly so many beauty products that we use daily contain nasty chemicals that can irritate skin and effect those of us with allergies and skin conditions. Sensitive Conditioner:Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Ceteareth-20, Behentrimonium Chloride, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tocopheryl Acetate, Amodimethicone, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide. Shampoo Normal/Dry is a mild and gentle shampoo, designed to deeply cleanse hair for a healthy scalp and luxurious shine. A high-performance formulation yet mild and gentle enough to minimise the risk of an allergic reaction. Fact: it is likely that any ingredient ending in -eth has also been through ethoxylation process too.

It contains Aloe Very which is soothing and hydrating and very mild too. You can use it on children’s hair too which is great because my three-year-old has really wild curls that always need taming after washing. Styling I’m enjoying using all four of these products and would happily recommend them to others whether they have sensitive skin or not. It’s a great shampoo that cleanses my hair very well without drying out my hair or my scalp. It just smells clean and fresh. I love that it comes in a huge 350ml tube! It will last me ages. After shampooing, massage a small amount of conditioner into hair and scalp, working through to the ends that are most prone to damage, so it distributes evenly. For ultimate nourishment, leave on for 1-3 minutes. Rinse well. Style as normal. This product is relatively new to me and over the past month it’s what I’ve been using. I like the consistency of the shampoo and that you don’t need too much to wash your hair (and I have a lot currently with my extensions). Used in conjunction with their conditioner, my hair is left lightweight, clean, and hydrated without stripping my skin/scalp of moisture. What I love is that it visibly reduces the appearance of split ends with the clever Biolipids and Camellia oil (which is rich in fatty acids) which help to smooth the cell membranes on the hair.

Irritated by irritants

As always, remember I will only recommend products that I have used and tried myself so rest assured that the above shampoos are really great products in my view and won’t irritate skin. That said, it is always worth remembering that we all have different skin and different allergies/sensitivities so what works for some, may not for others therefore make sure to do a patch test before you use new products. The Sensitive Shampoo (Normal/Dry) is free of fragrance, colour, silicon, SLS, alcohol, gluten and parabens. (It does contain SLE’s but these are a gentler version of an SLS – Explained perfectly here.) It’s mild formulation means that it can be used daily if needed and is suitable for all the family, little ones included. It contains Aloe vera leaf juice which is known for it’s soothing, healing and regenerative effects (which also contains on average 75 active ingredients like Vitamin A, C, E and B12), Vitamin B5, which helps prevent moisture loss, whilst deep conditioning the scalp. It also has Citric Acid which is great for helping eliminate any dandruff from the scalp and Glycerine, which is great for moisture retention which in turn supports softer and stronger hair. Sensitive Shampoo (Volume) - Perfect for Sensitive Scalps, Allergy-Friendly, No Perfumes, No Colourants - Asthma & Allergy Friendly Product. Important: Please note this product does not produce lots of lather (due to a reduction in chemicals that cause this effect) but still cleanses hair and scalp effectively. Shampoo Volume is a mild and gentle shampoo, designed to deeply cleanse hair while adding volume to boost fine, lifeless hair. A high-performance formulation yet mild and gentle enough to minimise the risk of an allergic reaction.
