About this deal

Also available in a wide option, the standard sleep system from Solar comes in at 205cm x 80cm, and weighs just 12kg, making it a convenient touch of luxury to load onto a barrow, or stow in the car boot.

I'm same height as you although probably 18 and half stone...did you go for the standard or wide version? This is the sleep system I’m currently using and I’ve had no problems with it so far. Okay, it’s not the most comfortable bedchair but I’ve done over 100 nights on it without too many aches and pains. The one thing to take into consideration is that the zip-in duvet and bottom mattress are rather thin. This is great for summer but I have needed an extra bag inside for spring and autumn. These features combined ensure that the mattress has even support and flatness throughout the entire mattress so you can sleep comfortably in any position, as you would in your bed at home. A full sleep system provides you with an all-in-one system that you can start doing nights in instantly. A bedchair alone is not a full system and will need a sleeping bag or fitted duvet to create a suitable sleep system. B) Can You Use a Bedchair Year-Round? Coming in at a whopping 22.5kg and measuring 75x70x42cm folded (the standard), this definitely isn’t the best option for those of you that like to stay on the move while you’re fishing. However, if you’re looking for ultimate comfort and luxury on holiday-style sessions, or waters that have easily accessible pegs, this is a fantastic bedchair. The Dwarf definitely doesn’t have the same great build quality as the Scope Ops bedchair but at nearly half the price, you can’t complain. This is a durable all-in-one sleep system for the angler on a budget who wants to save space and weight on their barrow or boat.

This sleep system features a high-density mattress, a 6-leg frame, and a hollow-fibre luxury duvet with baffles. It’s safe to say that not only is the Scope bedchair portable, it’s extremely comfortable and suitable for all seasons. The SP C-Tech system features a fully insulated breathable mattress. This ensures that heat is retained inside the sleep system while staying completely dry without moisture collection. This makes it a fantastic bedchair for year-round use because in the height of summer it’ll help you stay cool and in the depths of winter, it’ll keep you warm without collecting moisture. If you’re the holiday-style angler that likes to set up and stay in one swim, you may favour comfort over portability. If this is the case you may opt for a heavier more cumbersome bedchair such as the Nash Indulgence because you don’t need to move it around much. You may as well have the pinnacle of luxury if you’re staying in one place!

Had about 2 years and yes it’s the 5 season sleep system . Not the lightest bedchair but great for meI take it that your mate has the standard solar bedchair rather than the wide version. I'm pretty sure my trakker sleeping bag is the 365 (it's about 20 years old now so must be one of the original ones but boy is it comfy). I'll probably just get the bedchair then but will need to take my sleeping bag with me to make sure it fits on the solar before I buy it. If you’re more of a mobile angler that likes to stay light and move onto showing fish, a lightweight and easily transportable bedchair will suit you better. Sleep systems such as the Nash Scope Ops 4or the cheaper Nash Dwarf 4 systems are great options for the roving carp angler. D) Are Carp Fishing Bedchairs Expensive? Marley enjoying the Nash Sleep System This is the big-boy version of the SP sleep system with an extra 15cm width. It comprises the SP Wide Bedchair complete with Solar 4-season sleeping bag and waterproof, Rip-Stop bedchair cover to provide a complete sleep system.

had every Nash indulgence ever released in recent times ss3, ss4 wideboy, mf60 which was a joke b the way Overall, this is a versatile sleep system that’s rugged, easy-to-use, and extremely comfortable in all four seasons. It’s not particularly light, but coming in at 17kg, it does come in lighter than some other sleep systems with the same range of features. The MF60 Indulgence features a fleece-covered memory foam mattress with an all-season zip-in hollow fibre duvet. Large baffles prevent cool air from entering the zip line and help improve the bedchair’s insulative qualities.Again, if you’re looking for comfort, the Nash MF60 Indulgence Sleep System is a fantastic bedchair to look at. Nash has been making high-quality bedchairs for decades and they’re definitely leading the market. Thanks for the heads up on the Trakker Oval. I used to have the old Fox 5 season sleeping bag which was tapered at the foot end and whilst excellent for warmth, it was a complete bitch to get in and out of (especially with size 12 feet). I've still got the old Trakker 5 season sleeping bag with the detachable fleece inner (which I'm giving my eldest with my Fox Recliner beg chair) and as it's not tapered like the mummy style sleeping bags it's probably the best sleeping bag I've ever had.
