Moltres is a legendary bird Pokémon that has the ability to control fire. If this Pokémon is injured, it is said to dip its body in the molten magma of a volcano to burn and heal itself. In Generations I, III, and VII, a Trainer at the Cinnabar Gym mentions that Blaine became a Fire-type expert after seeing a Moltres. Moltres, a one-of-a-kind Legendary Flame Pokémon. So powerful, its fire dust can bring early spring to wintery lands. The target is scared off, and a different Pokémon is dragged out. In the wild, this ends a battle against a single Pokémon. The user yells as if it's ranting about something, which lowers the Sp. Atk stats of opposing Pokémon.
