On the western tip of North Devon you'll find Hartland with some of the most stunning coastal scenery in Britain. There are plenty of toilets throughout. They are very clean and the best thing is that one can read poetry whilst sat on the throne!!!
North Devon and Exmoor isn’t just an area for the outdoorsy types, the region has a whole host of amazing attractions, great local food and drink. Ilfracombein particular is becoming famous for being a foodie hot spot and with the region being popular with familiesand holiday makers, there are restaurants, cafesand bars offering every type of cuisine you could possibly imagine. Exeter, Plymouthand the larger townsoffer plenty of opportunity for a fun night out, with excellent restaurantsserving locally sourced food and lots of chances to exercise your credit card in a range of boutique and high street stores. We were asked to move to the Drawing Room at approx 1015pm, which if I'm honest, given we were only going to be 10 minutes or so more, could have waited. We've dined in very fine establishments and have never been asked to move so that they could make up the table for the next day. Another couple was asked as well who we were talking to.
There are 7 rivers that run through Devon and many of our beautiful villages sit close to these rivers.The history and heritagethat can be found in all of Devon’s towns and villages will leave youspellbound and wanting to explore even more. The menu is set, based around what is seasonally available, but any special requests can specified at the time of booking. There are also drink specials and a choice of desserts.
