About this deal

With the sheet now in the correct position, secure into place using the Corotherm Fixing Button in the pre-drilled hole. Remove the sheet to the bench to drill where you have marked. Remember all Corotherm sheets must have an expansion allowance of 3mm arround all fixings. Screw the bottom half of the glazing bar to every purlin. Ensure the purlin spacing is not greater than 1500mm. Built to Last: Crafted from high-quality materials, our Fixing Buttons are built to endure various environmental conditions, providing you with long-lasting reliability. You will need to pre-drill the glazing bar in preparation for fixing to the rafters - at approximately 400mm centers staggered on alternate sides.

As always, preparation is key to a successful finish. Make sure your work area is clear and you have all the tools and materials that you need before you start fixing polycarbonate sheets to timber. Spending time on the design of your structure before you start with construction will reduce the chance of making a costly mistake. Your timber frame needs to be constructed so that it can firmly hold your sheets. The main risk with this type of design is an uplift wind that can catch under the sheets and pull them off, but as long as the sheets are securely and correctly attached to the frame then your structure should be safe and sound. Things Needed Available in Three Elegant Colors,Classic White Achieve a clean and timeless look that suits any design. Before you start fixing your polycarbonate sheets to your frame you will need to get ready. Certain pieces of equipment will make sure that your job is easier. You will need:

Versatility Redefined: Perfect for situations where installers work with wider sheets, beyond manufacturer recommendations. The buttons provide essential added support, ensuring peace of mind for your projects. Exceptional Strength: Our Fixing Buttons are engineered to deliver unparalleled fixing strength, especially in areas prone to wind and snow loading. No matter the conditions, your installations will stand strong.

Prepare the rafters ready for the glazing bars. Different types of glazing bars attach in different ways, so it is important to understand which type you have and adjust accordingly. Step 3 At Polycarbonate Xpress, we understand that the strength and longevity of your polycarbonate sheet installations are paramount. That's why we're proud to introduce our innovative Fixing Buttons - the ultimate solution for securing your projects with precision and reliability. After your sheet has been cut to size, we recommend marking a point at the central lower end for the fixing button. Once your sheet is pushed into position (secured by the glazing bars) the fixing can then be screwed in. Please note, every Corotherm sheet should have a 3mm expansion allowance around all fixings. Cut your glazing bars to size, again measuring is the key here. Remember that cutting aluminium will need a specific blade to ensure a good clean cut. Step 4 Professional Finish: Achieve a professional and finished look for your polycarbonate sheet installation.
