The one upgrade available to Battle Sisters is the Simulacrum Imperialis. This upgrades Shield of Faith saves from a 6++ to 5++, which is awesome. I would always expect to include a Battle Sister with a Simulacrum on my team, likely running either the Comms or Medic specialism to buff either my main shooter or fighter. You may also have noticed that over the course of the series , we’ve hinted at loads of other models that aren’t in this set. That’s because this is actually only the (mind-blowingly awesome) vanguard of an expanded Adepta Sororitas range yet to come. How cool is that? Such criminals will be put to a merciful death after a lengthy and extremely excruciating ritual of torture intended to purify their souls, so that they may still find peace alongside the Emperor of Mankind in the afterlife. The sentence of arco-flagellation is only delivered to criminals on technologically advanced worlds due to the advanced resources it requires.Without such guidance servitors do little but fire wildly, and may even wander off without warning in pursuit of some erroneous protocol. These types aid in the repair of vehicles or sometimes carry large and dangerous weapons such as Plasma Cannons.

Designed for intimidation and maximum semi-lethal force, these hulking brutes stand two and a half metres tall with a hunched, ape-like posture. Their faces have been replaced with the gilded seal of the Lord Sector, and one hand has been replaced with a massive pneumatic piston launcher capable of scattering rioters like leaves or tossing a single malefactor through the air with a crushed chest. The other arm has been removed entirely, replaced with a complicated dual weapon-attachment. The Magistratum knows that a squad of these can scatter a rampaging crowd of thousands, and they make a point of turning the instigators of these riots into the next batch of Suppression Servitors. Servo-skulls are drone-like robotic devices that are Human skulls outfitted with electronic and cybernetic components that utilise embedded anti-gravity field generators to allow them to hover and drift bodiless through the air. They are fashioned using added robotic components from the skulls of loyal adepts of the Adeptus Terra and other pious Imperial servants so that they may continue their work for the Emperor of Mankind even after death. Presumably, to have one's skull chosen to serve as a Servo-skull is a great honour in the Imperium. Incendio-class Gun Servitor - The Incendio-class Gun Servitor is a favourite of Enginseers assigned to the trenches of the Spinward Front, where a gout of burning promethium can turn the tide of a battle. It mounts a flamer integrated in place of its right arm, and stores the fuel in an armoured compartment in the lower torso—a design that limits the vulnerability of such a volatile fuel source to enemy fire. Arco-flagellants are human beings who have been condemned by Imperial justice to death, but whose crimes are not so severe that they are beyond all hope of redemption. Although the Sisters of Battle readily use Arco-flagellants, and rejoice in seeing criminals finding their redemption in death, they keep a wary distance from the creatures, and only use them when they are past considerations of collateral damage. To the Arco-flagellants, any living being who has not been specifically tagged by their controller as friendly is an enemy, and they will kill it accordingly, be it a true opponent or simply an innocent bystander. Note: Currently it appears there is a typo for Guardsmen in the Compendium – Guardsman Gunners are listed as having a 3+ save but this is likely meant to be 5+. We suggest playing this as a 5+. Like Pious Vorne, he gives you the option of squeezing in an extra specialist and could pair with a Zealot Repentia/Endurant. That said, he’s very expensive. He costs 50% more than a Repentia and adding him to your team will almost certainly bring your model count down by 1, which is a big deal. Servitors make up the vast bulk of the population of Mars and other Forge Worlds of the Mechanicus, where they fulfill the role of tireless workers, soldiers and labourers.
