Balefleets are the term given to the various fleets used by Chaos forces in the Arks of Omen Campaign. [1] Edit - just read the blurb at the end. Not that more models is a bad thing. Guess they just really wanted to call it a Boarding Patrol as a promotional tie-in. This is an interesting move by GW, as the boxes are made specifically for the new game format. We’ll have to see pricing on these, but if they price them right, it could be a decent way to start up a new force and get to playing some boarding action games all in one go. In a world of bloody Boarding Actions, it’s easy to forget the colossal battles that define the 41st Millennium are still taking place. Balefleets are the cohorts raised by Abaddon and Vashtorr, tasked with collecting the artefacts needed to complete their meticulous plan. It’s interesting to see the huge difference in value between the two boxes, as GW did price them differently, bevcaue one would have had a ton of value and one not so much. Is The Chaos Boarding Patrol Box Worth it?In this Blood Angels novel, the Redeemer of the Lost joins the Red Wings Chapter as they experience strange events and battle monstrous xenos foes, and face the possibility of extinction. Only showing 5x CSMs not 10 on Boarding Patrol photo is strange too, not showing all the minis included! But including a unique character like Abaddon ruins that box IMHO. The Balefleets of Abaddon the Despoiler surge across the galaxy, and woebetide any who attempt to seize or destroy the Arks of Omen that serve as their flagships. Of course, to play games in a spaceship , you’ll first need a spaceship – or at least a board’s worth of spaceship terrain, such as the contents of the Boarding Actions Terrain Set. This set contains two sturdy double-sided gaming boards and 68 pieces of massively modular terrain, which can be used for the Boarding Actions missions in the Arks of Omen series. Launch your own Balefleet in games of Warhammer 40,000 with this boxed set containing 17 plastic Citadel miniatures, led by a fearsome Daemon Prince.

So I think the box will come with 10 marines but the picture on the box is the actual warband you can play. The various factions of the 41st Millennium are now forced to undertake Boarding Actions against these twisted space hulks, with small, elite forces clashing in their claustrophobic confines. Out of the box this collection has a few too many points for a single Boarding Action force, but that just gives you more options to play around with.” This has a lot of value compared with the Space Marines box. However, you get the majority of it in Cultists and Abaddon, so if you don’t want either, then this is not worth it. This is a great value for those who need both cultists and Abaddon. This gives you a pretty elite option for your Chaos Space Marine armies and it fits in nicely with the new Detachment rules for Arks Of Omen that you can indulge in.You may have noticed that blood is a common theme this week, and that goes double for Wednesday’s Warhammer+ releases. Battle Report tears open the Warcry: Bloodhunt boxed set for an epic clash using the new warbands and Fortification rules, while Citadel Colour Masterclass presents an in-depth tutorial for painting all of the blood effects you’ll need for the incoming World Eaters. Jakhals are brutal human cultists pumped with combat stims and eight drops of the warp-infused blood of true World Eaters, turning them into furious melee machines with no regard for their own lives. They’re effective fighters in their own right, and throw themselves into enemy guns for a chance to please their murderous god. World Eaters Datacards and Dice Set Warhammer Day Reveals – What Are the Arks of Omen? (Posted on 08/10/2022) (Last accessed on 8 October 2022)

The Balefleet Battleforce is a contingent of corrupted warriors comprised of 10 Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, and a Heldrake, all led by an infernal Daemon Prince. The map is a large-scale reproduction of the one found in the book, measuring 596mm x 420mm, and printed on cotton. It comes in a faux-leather wrap to keep it safe and let you roll it out dramatically, like one of Rogal Dorn’s sub-commanders pointing out weak spots in the defences. It’s secured with a leather cord and a metal pendant featuring the sigil of the Titan Legions. From the URL: "enter-the-new-season-of-warhammer-40000-with-two-boarding-patrols-and-a-battleforce/" A heady mix of daemonic power and debased Astartes ceramite, this Battleforce is the ideal way to throw in your lot with the Warmaster and start scouring the galaxy for the keys to victory. If you want to muster a fresh army to take advantage of the Arks of Omen Detachment, there are also four new Adeptus Astartes Battleforces* that’ll give you a great starting point – or help you expand on your army with loads of models and Chapter-themed upgrades.

Yes, this set is led by Abaddon The Despoiler himself. When you need a job done, do it yourself I guess. As well as The Despoiler, you also have ten Chaos Space Marine Legionaries who can be armed with a variety of weapons and then twenty Cultists who will simply be cannon fodder thrown in the way of oncoming fire.
