Cuando empecé a leer Culpa Mía tenía clarísimo que Nick y Noah iban a estar juntos en algún momento, pero Mercedes Ron nos hace esperar muchos capítulos y va creando una tensión tan tremenda que no puedes dejar de leer. I've only seen the move and just started the book but so far I find it less problematic than some CoHo book or other popular books I've seen marketed to teenage girls.

Overall I really enjoyed the story, the only hang up I had was that I wish Noah was 18 instead of 17 in the book. And I friend of mine told me that the scene where he leaves her IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AT NIGHT is going to be in the Prime adaptation. Noah had changed my life, had made it more interesting, had made me want to fight for something and not just give up—for her. I would have liked to see more of the "mystery" earlier in the book instead of just the last third of it. I did however read The Kissing Booth books and watched the movies which I absolutely love (I freaking love Noah from The Kissing Booth).Los celos que tiene son porque me quiere, no puedo hablar con tios o no me pueden mirar ni yo mirar, a ver que me pongo, solo sexy para él, si se pega con alguien lo tengo que admirar y más si es por mi…. even though mario ended up ditching noah since she said she didn’t want a relationship, he was a sweetheart to her. she was much better than his dumbass was at the age of 22 who still had the mindset that he can have everything the way he wants. Can love conquer the dark side of these LA streets, or will NICK and NOAH be swallowed by the dark things between them? Moving once again while still staying in a volatile relationship with Nicholas will be very challenging.

Arrogant, aloof, and viciously attractive, Nick is everything she hates, especially when she learns his bad boy persona isn't just a façade. Digan lo que quieran, pero Culpa Mía es mi guilty pleasure favorito del año, pues me tuvo enganchadísima, suspirando y fangirleando cada que Nick y Noah se besaban, actuaban como una pareja normal y mandaban al carajo a todos los que los miraran como si estuvieran haciendo algo mal. Voy a dejar la negatividad a un lado y reconocer que la historia de esta pareja tuvo sus pequeños momentos tiernos e intensos, incluso me gustó ese “detalle” que los une, pero eso no fue suficiente para que me encante por completo.

Tampoco entiendo cuando intentan transformar a la chica buena en una tipa que, por bronca o vaya uno a saber qué, termina drogándose o con un casi coma etílico. Algo que me encanta de estos libros es que los protagonistas siempre están tocados por su pasado y no sabemos qué les ha sucedido hasta bien entrada la historia y eso hace que me atrapen un montón y cree conflicto en la historia. I wrote stupid stuff there when I was 14 and when I found it again with 19 andread it I was disgusted by myself.

I know I said the marketing is perfect and it works but I think Paper Princess meets The Kissing Booth is probably way more accurate.

dios…que tía más petarda de verdad, y qué es eso de decir que todas las tías que estan en las fiestas y carreras o con las que coquetea Nick son unas guarras y unas putas por vestir con minifaldas y escotazos, o lo típico de “es una rubia de bote y parecía tonta” (textualmente sacado), de verdad? Su padre tiene muy claro que la razón del secuestro ha sido para mandarle un mensaje: podemos llegar a ella. Y si hubiera leído este libro en esa época, hubiese creído que estaba bien referirse a otras chicas así.
