About this deal

Dedicated “to girls who love loudly,” this collection contains many rally cries of self-empowerment, urging humans of all persuasions to live out loud, on purpose. Product arrived matching the specifications I requested but also matched the photographs and item description. Swift's new album has ties to poetry released by an elusive author named June Bates, prompting fans to think the two might be the same person. Swift, befitting her country roots, is good at finding a central metaphor for a song that provides a framework for the emotions she’s trying to convey.

They’re heartfelt and plainspoken, like Swift’s lyrics, but they’re very vague, lacking the concrete detail that often distinguishes Swift’s music. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page. In a short period of time Bates managed to capture the pain, beauty, and magnificence that comes with being queer in today's society. We can't be all too surprised, as everyone and their mother knows Swift is known for her easter eggs.

In Swift's song, she sings: "Pushed from the precipice / Climbed right back up the cliff / Long story short, I survived. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. And it just so happened that it was released three days before Taylor spoke at the class of '22's graduation at New York University. Outside of people creating new trends with the album, there are also millions of new theories about Swift's music. Bates’ poems rarely bother: They’re all about the direct statement, in a way that many readers seem to appreciate, though to me they seem awfully artless.

I usually don't like poetry books that much but this one was so sweet, tender, raw, relatable, and revolutionary. ce recueil était juste incroyable 🤎 pleins de poèmes où je me suis retrouvée dedans, où les mots ont resonnés en moi, trouvant une place dans mon cœur. I read and rated the book, “She is the poem” by Julia Bates and I gave it five stars because the moment I had the book in my hands I finished it. I did feel such a connection and that's all I needed especially where I'm at mentally and emotionally- I felt she was right beside me cheering me on even if no one else was!

TikToker and dedicated Swiftie Emily Stokes released a video on October 24th, three days after 'Midnights' was released, hashing out the June Bates theory. A quick read and there were like one or two lines that I was like oh right, okay, it's getting going now.

The comments on these TikToks mostly consist of sweet young people being very moved by these poems, writing things like “cant wait to find this person” and “i wanted this with him but he didnt want the same 😭😭😭😭.

Our queen mastermind, Taylor Swift, may have secretly written and published a poetry book behind our backs and published it under the pen name June Bates just days before releasing "Midnights. The reference to "sapphic poetry" in the collection's title has also added to the theory that Swift is alluding to her queer identity in her music. There were so many poems that I totally related to and ones I know I will come back to in the future. What I really liked and could relate to was when she was having trouble coming out to her family and being rejected not once but many times throughout her life.
