The stitches glide easily on and off the needles and there is no snagging, which in my experience can happen with some of the handmade needles.If you have any loved ones who knit (or who would love to knit) then please consider our needles for birthdays, Christmas or any special occasion. Super bulky or chunky yarn blankets need bigger needles again: around 8 or even 10 mm (size 11 – 15 US). However, it can become awkward to work on a large super bulky blanket and such thick, heavy blankets have limited uses.
When all that weight is held on a straight needle, the weight of the entire blanket will be hanging out to your sides as you work, meaning you have to move a lot of weight each time you knit a stitch.
