When the "Blade Runner Trilogy" set was released the original 1994 album was remastered and it is these remastered recordings that are used on the "Retirement Edition".

I would highly recommend just purchasing a sealed or NM copy of the 2015 version as the mastering just as so much more range.

The mastering on this pressing is pretty far from the 2015 pressing and the CD anniversary and is clearly only focused on the mids. The duo was brought in somewhat later in the production process, after the score’s initial composer, Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson, ceased involvement due to creative differences. Missing a lot of highs and lows that are really distracting and take a lot away from the experience when you have heard the other master. If you don't see anything in this section to suit, please let us know as I'm sure we can source a speaker to suit your needs. The movie needed something different, and I needed to go back to something closer to [the original film's composer] Vangelis.

The gatefold and inner-poly sleeve are also nice, though I once again, have to parrot the fact that the print resolution on the gatefold looks pretty crummy. However, I was genuinely surprised by how "forward" One More Kiss sounds in the way that you feel the singer and the jazz musicians are in the same room with you.
