I think if you are one of those readers that absolutely loved A Touch of Darkness, you will probably love this too. He is not just a sex god, he is a man with complex and insecure feelings who would do anything for his woman.Not to mention, the charity project that’s his character growth moment isn’t written in a way where it feels like a character growth moment. By that, I mean, he gives an individual a choice of turning 3 million dollars over to charities that help the homeless before a criminal is going to die in a matter of time. The banter and chemistry between the two leads was fantastic and they became one of my favorite pairings of bookworms. He is glad to be rid of her after all the warnings he had given her over the months previously regarding Persephone, and the fact that she is to be their Queen.
