Description

I evaluated on contruction, pricing and feature set, ended up choosing this controller. I would really like to get this company or Adappto to use a power stage setup I've designed so I can start selling high power controllers. I have the gate drive/power stage figured out, but don't have my own controller brain and don't desire to design my own at this point. I'll only talk about the 72200 vs the 12401, since the 72150 is pretty much the same as the 72200, only with less power. You can program the Sabvoton Controller 72200 by both Computer and Smart Phone (iPhone and Android). Sabvoton Controller 72200.

Sabvoton controller only design sine wave type controller so far, it’s brushless DC controller, 120 degree phase angle. Generally, we matched it well with QS Motor, if you want to match with new brand motor, some parameters should be tested by yourself. System status and fault intelligent management system caneffectively monitor the current system operating mode external input state ,thecase of system failure, and the LED flashes at the same time to facilitate thediagnosis and maintenance.Pros - cool features, affordable, high power, phase current control, protection, variable regen, virtually silent (my freewheel is much louder than the motor) Our products have won national invention patents and international certificates, and we are recognized in terms of quality and reputation. I use regen as a brake more than I care about recovered energy which is why I wanted variable regen. I have found that I consistently get much higher regen percentage using slip/slide charge mode, even if it's at a low setting. With it being variable you can coast or brake, best of both worlds. I'm going to trigger it to engage the 2nd throttle off of the ebrake switch in my Hydraulic Tektro brakes so all I need to do is lightly grab the front/rear brake lever and then twist a left hand throttle to vary how much I slow down. If I need hard braking, that's what the mechanical brakes do. The slow wind motors are saturated at low amps. Remember that I'm pairing this controller for use with a Cromotor since I am always asked by customers what controller I recommend. The motor torque ripple will be reduced to the minimum, so as toensure electric vehicle to run without any noise and vibration, smoothly, andcomfortably.

In my opinion, the only issue with the sabvoton is heat dissipation. At least for the new design. The old design doesn't heat nearly as much.If I’m successful with a repair I’ll provide details. Unfortunately I’m not able to attempt again until November. I think I have TPS dead low 20, and TPS dead high 70. I understand these as limits for throttle, corresponding to 0-5V throttle output signal. Every throttle is a bit different, but real values are probably more like 1-4 V. So 1V corresponds to TPS dead low 20 (20%), and upper 4V as TPS dead high will be lets say 80 (80%). Thats how I understand it.[/quote] Regen - It has 2 types of regen, slide regen and normal button regen activated by sending a +5v signal to the regen wire. Both as set in phse amps and can provide a strong regen force, enough to cause the rear 19x"3.0 Shinko SR244 tire to be on the verge of skidding while it's engaged at any speed over 20mph.
