Film projects included Spaceballs, High Anxiety, the original Freaky Friday, The Santa Trap and Soylent Green. Absolutely loved this book as did every one of my kids, even the adult ones. Here is my review from my blog:

So he schemes and steams, rants and raves. Then he starts setting traps all through his house to trap Santa next Christmas and take every toy and gift from Santa and his sleigh. I received a free copy of this book from Peachtree Publishers for review. I was in no way compensated for this review. It is my own opinion. One year, I made a pressure sensitive pad from two sheets of metal foil and a sheet of perforated polythene. I laid the pad next to my bedroom door and covered it with a rug – but Santa still managed to slip past without stepping on it!I really enjoyed the part where the father accidentally brings home the wrong, have-to-have-it toy (been there, done that!). Really funny. Rosie’s works include the multi-award-winning work ‘5 SOLDIERS- The Body is the Frontline’ (2010- present) based on intense research with the British Army and a large-scale development of this work, ‘10 SOLDIERS’ (2019). ‘Fantasia’ was created in 2019, with three female dancers, and was awarded in The Guardian’s ‘Top 10 Dance of the Year’. Other works include MK Ultra (2017), ‘Motel’ (2016), ‘Sluts of Possession’ (2013), ‘There is Hope’ (2012), ‘Double Points: K’ (2008), ‘Asylum’ (2005). Rosie choreographed the live BBC Commonwealth Games Handover Ceremony (2018), watched by over 1 billion people worldwide and was choreographer to the feature film ‘Sunshine on Leith’ (2013). Outdoor works include ‘Modern Warrior’ (2017), ‘The Great Train Dance’ (2011) and ‘Ballet on the Buses’ (2007) with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Santa Claus is the only good guy here. Bradley's been bad since birth, and his ineffectual parents have enabled his selfishness, greed and bad behavior.

This film is not made for adults who hate Christmas (If that's you then watch The Ref and Bad Santa") In 1949, he began a seven-year run on one of TV’s earliest series, Mama, playing one of the sons of a Norwegian-American family in early 1900s San Francisco. Bradley's greediness is shown to be so extreme as to be laughable. But the message is clearly that it's wrong to be so greedy. There's also the message that you can't fool Santa -- he knows who belongs on the naughty list, and who belongs on the nice list.Did you know you can flag iffy content? Adjust limits for Violence & Scariness in your kid's entertainment guide. Get started Close Bradley Bartleby is a very spoiled and self-centered little boy. He makes demands and expects those demands to be obeyed. He has even dared to make demands of Santa Claus. He demands Santa to bring him every item he has on his long list.

I love the fact that this films characters embrace what its like to live in Southern California in December. You want to build a snowman and yet its hot enough to swim! I love the casting of this film because its is full of familiar faces of pro's. It is a nicely done! Michael has been Chief Executive of Mayflower Theatre since October 2012. He started as an actor before moving into theatre management when he became House Manager at the London Palladium. Michael has worked in UK regional theatre since 1999 and came from the Grand Opera House in Belfast to join Mayflower Theatre. Another reason for choosing Macmillan was that I had a particular illustrator in mind for the book and Macmillan editor, Suzanne Carnell, had proposed the same illustrator. The illustrator was interested and agreed to do a sample illustration for the book. However months went by and, despite prompting from Suzanne, the sample did not appear. After over a year of waiting we finally realised that it was never going to appear and I heard subsequently that the illustrator had emigrated to Canada without telling us!Now if you are a grown adult and don't care much about Christmas then chances are you will hate this. If enjoyed Christmas as a child you will like this. If you have small children then watch this with them. The film would be great tool to use to openly talk about "Bullying" and yes "Having Faith". Bradley Bartleby was bad. He’d been born bad. Before baby Bradley even left the hospital…he’d bitten the midwife on the bottom, stolen the doctor’s stethoscope, and emptied his diaper into his grandmother’s handbag.”

It was while Jonathan was at college, studying architecture, that he first started developing his own illustrated texts, illustrating poems and lyrics that he’d written. Pleased with the results, he found himself spending more and more time on writing and illustration. Although he qualified as an architect, he found the job unsatisfying and began pursuing a career in children's books in his spare time, eventually going full-time in 1995, a few months before his thirtieth birthday. Shows all sorts of weapons and explosive devices as part of the trap. Kids can identify dynamite, swords, a mace, knight's armor, an anvil, and more. To the beastly Bradley Bartleby, no behavior is too bad. After all, he was born bad. The older he gets, the badder he becomes. His selfish demands are always met by his rich parents for the sole reason they are terrified of their spoiled son. The author has given an extreme example of the behavior of many children's expectations of Santa and Christmas. Then she shows our children how such horrible behavior is looked upon by others and how this behavior is rewarded by Santa not giving into the child's demands. Negative behavior meets negative consequences.

His many TV appearances also included Sanford and Son, The Streets of San Francisco, Adam-12, Happy Days, The Love Boat, Touched By An Angel, Arrested Development and, most recently, Hot in Cleveland.
