The ultimate ‘get you home’ roofrack, is also great for hire cars or for people who change their car often or put boats on multiple cars. The video shows a HandiRack being fitted to a 4-door car, but it can also work on 2-door cars by placing both sets of bars across the front door. We strongly advise that you consult your vehicle owner’s manual as the manufacturer’s recommended maximum load for the vehicle’s roof may be less than the weight of the load. The HandiHoldall 400 is a waterproof 400 litre soft bag, which attaches to the HandiRack (or any normal roof rack). The HandiRack can carry up to 80kg, depending on your vehicle, but I would suggest you make sure the paintwork is clean before you use the HandiRack to avoid scratching your car.

When placing the TPU covers onto the HandiRack fitting strap, remember to place two of them on each strap. Please note that we accept goods back within one month of the initial purchase date provided that the goods have not been used or fitted and that the original packaging is in 'as new' condition. When tightening the rear strap I did notice that when strapping down very tightly the roof of the car did dip, I slackened this strap off a little to reduce the flexing.

You can slide the kayak onto the HandiRack but as its made of a canvas material rather than a hard plastic as a conventional rack I would suggest asking somebody to give you a hand, this will reduce any wear and tear. It’s so much simpler and less time consuming than traditional metal roof bars which makes the HandiRack the ultimate convenience option. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note. The HandiRack states that it can hold up to 80kg which is pretty impressive and should be more than capable of carrying your fishing kayak on the odd occassion when you don't have a standard roof rack available to you.
