Persona 3 is where things get a little complicated. Persona 3 Portable is actually the third version of the original Persona 3 that launched on PS2 in 2006/07. A second version Persona 3 FES, launched on PS2 just a year later. More on that in a second. Altus has finally announced the "Persona 5 Royal" release for the Nintendo Switch console. After years of hoping, rumours, and speculation, Nintendo fans are finally getting their wish and embarking on the adventure of the Phantom Thieves, according to IGN. Switch version to include all DLCs in the PS4 version It’s really hard to go wrong with the series though. They are absolutely brilliant games and I can’t wait for Persona 6!

I’ve been loving Persona 5 but now that it’s taken off the training wheels (somewhat) and let me do what I want with the deadline of clearing the first palace being the only imperative…I’m honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed with it. So many possibilities for what you can do and so many places you can go but only so much time to do it, and then there’s the palace itself which I’ve started and all I’m thinking is, am I doing it too early? Should I be doing other stuff before trying to clear it? Then there’s all the battle mechanics and fusing Personas and all that and it’s just…a lot. The short answer — it doesn't matter! Start where you want. The long answer? It entirely depends. We probably wouldn't recommend starting with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax or Persona 5 Strikers now, but if you have played either of those games before P5R, P4G, or P3P's release, then it doesn't matter. Persona 5 Royal has finally been announced for Nintendo Switch. After years of waiting, and plenty of outcry from fans, players will be able to take on the adventure of the Phantom Thieves on the go. It’s all part of a series of Persona ports making their way to the handheld console. Persona 5 isn’t the first one in the set to release, so fans will have to wait a while to be reunited with Joker and the gang. Following the announcement of the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, Windows PC, Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 ports for Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable, the games have also been announced for Nintendo Switch release. FES' big claim is that it added a brand new chapter to Persona 3 after beating the main story, called 'The Answer'. This additional story chapter was a lot harder than the main game and removed the Social Link aspect of the main game — it's essentially just a straight dungeon crawler. Plus it's around 30 hours long, on top of the main game's 60-70 hour playtime. The "Persona 5 Royal" release date for Nintendo Switch will arrive on October 21, 2022. The game will also release on PC and Xbox platforms. The game's release will also include all DLCs available in the PS4 version.

I personally think the Switch version doesn't look too bad and I really am just playing the Switch version because of the portability but if I wanna play on a big screen I'll just play one of the other releases like on the Playstation or my computer. Persona 5 Royal, released worldwide in 2020, marks the definitive version of the game, with additional content that wasn't included in the 2017 release of Persona 5. In GameSpot's Persona 5 Royal review, Michael Higham called the game "the definitive version of a modern classic" and awarded the game a rare 10 out of 10.

Persona 5 base game on PS4 was my first and only foray into the series and it was an unquestionable joyous pleasure. As it seems is the case with a lot of other Atlus offerings the game is split between two genres, this time- JRPG & Life Sim. Also the case with many Atlus games, Persona 5 just oozes endless style, flare, polish and pizazz. The visuals, music & content are all phenomenal. Players will be pleased to learn that the "Persona 5" Nintendo Switch edition will also include every DLC made available for the PS4 version, finally spreading the enjoyment to more platforms, according to NME.com. Royal is an enhanced version of the original "Persona 5" game that includes extra content, new social media links, and a somewhat modified primary plot.
