A Trinity costume from The Matrix is an awesome costume which can be used as a solo fancy dress or as a great costume idea for couples. The woman can wear a Trinity costume and the man could dress as Neo. When you are making your own Trinity costume you will need some specific items of clothing. Trinity Costume – The Matrix Originally developed by The Oracle, this program was called The Biological Interface Program and was strongly sought after by the Oligarchy as a means to transfer their digital minds to physical bodies instead of the mechanical androids they had developed.

Neo (Played by Keanu Reeves) is the primary protagonist of The Matrix series. He comes to represent something of a Christ figure, freeing humanity from the repressed state and toward ultimate liberation. As ‘The One’, it is prophesized that he will eventually bring an end to the matrix simulation, used to keep humans subservient to the machines so that they can harness their biomass to power their own agenda. As we see at the end of the original movie, there have in fact been multiple ‘The Ones’ who eventually failed in their mission. However, it is this final iteration of Neo that will eventually break the cycle of subjugation once and for all. Neo and Trinity are part of a rebel group trying to free humankind from the Matrix, a simulated world made by machines who have enslaved the human race. Neo is the prophesized The One who can end the enslavement and Trinity is there to help him fulfill his destiny. In the third installment of the Matrix series, Trinity is involved in the rescue of Neo from a cut-off segment of the Matrix, where he is being held by a program in the employ of The Merovingian. In the real world, Trinity goes with Neo to the Machine City in an attempt to negotiate with the Machines, serving as the pilot after Neo is blinded in a confrontation with Bane/ Smith. Making a new Matrix costume can be a fun and creative project. Here are some steps to get you started: In the real world, Trinity mostly wears a coarse gray shirt, blue pants and dark shoes, standard clothes in Zion. The Matrix lead costume designer, Kym Barret, brought the universe to life with a unique blend of futuristic cyberpunk and real-world influences. Neo has many influential costume designs throughout the original trilogy, though the one featured here is arguably his most iconic. This coat is based on the one Trinity wears in the later Matrix movies, as opposed to the one she wore in the original Matrix. That one was similar, but I don’t think it was quite the same.

Although in this instance, the character's name is probably derived from the Christian Holy Trinity, a triad deity is not exclusive to Christianity. It is generally accepted by theologians as a common theme in religions. Other holy trinity examples include the Greek Hecate and Hindu Brahman Trimurti. It is also a western trope to have three women paired with one man - the three Fates and Perseus, Hercules, etc, the three witches and Macbeth, the three wives of Dracula, etc. The name "Trinity" is derived from the Holy Trinity in Christian theology, which teaches the unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons of one essence in the Godhead. Her name seems to parallel Morpheus (as the Father), Neo (the Son being freed by Morpheus from the Matrix), and Trinity is the third of the three (and thus taking the role of the Holy Spirit by analogy).Famously, Morpheus presents a choice to a select few inhabitants to either take the blue pill (returning to normality and erasing any knowledge of the simulated nature of their world) or the red pill (waking the individual from the simulation and into the real world). Morpheus is the name of the god of dreams within Greek mythology. The Matrix character was also based on one of the same name from Neil Gaiman’s fictional universe The Sandman, which also draws heavily upon Greek mythology. This is largely consistent with Morpheus’s role within the wider Matrix universe as the one who first wakes humans from their dreamlike state within the machine-run simulation.
