stephanie garber, WHAT IF I WAS SUICIDAL. WHAT IF THAT WAS MY LAST STRAW. how am i supposed to live, laugh, love in these conditions—that ending was just rude. all that angst, sexual tension, JEALOUSY, hurting, THE PUSH AND PULL BETWEEN THEM, would kill anyone for her, the denial of their love for each other but it’s obvious that they’re each others one true love, JUST TO GIVE THEM THAT ENDING?!! FOR WHAT?? NOTHING 😭 Yes, there will be a The Ballad of Never After sequel! The third book in this trilogy, A Curse for True Love, is set to release on September 12th, 2023. Paste: How would you describe the differences between this series and your Caraval trilogy, as stories? What appeals to you in a romance tale? What are the characters like who fall in love? Who's your favorite female romantic hero? What does her ideal partner look and act like? Are you looking for a person like that in your own relationships? eva our innocent naive little fox. she’s such an unreliable narrator. but i also loved seeing her thought process sometimes. she makes dumb decisions but i also understand them for the most part.

Anyways, this plot was amazing, incredible, splendid, magical, and a bunch of other words alike to those. She wanted butterflies and kisses. She wanted it so much that sometimes she thought her heart would burst from it.” Though the trope is fun, and I get the lusting vibes Garber is going after by writing these scenes, it happens so many times between these two, it ends up feeling overused and a bit lazy. However, much to Evangeline’s dismay, it appears that Apollo is under a second curse! A mirror curse between Evangeline and Apollo is discovered when a knife is run along Apollo’s arm, and that same exact cut is on Evangeline’s arm.He held her with the type of intensity that only happens when a person wants something that isn't quite theirs.”

Y'all am not gonna joke here but read this if you like Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame 👀🤭😂 She used to think love was like a house. Once it was built, a person got to live in it forever. But now she wondered if love was more like a war with new foes constantly appearing and battles creeping up. Winning at love was less about succeeding in a battle and more about continuing a fight, to choose the person you loved as the one you were willing to die for, over and over." not the book telling me this doesn’t end well like 20 times and everybody who’s read it telling me it doesn’t end well and me ! still ! hoping ! for ! a ! decent ? end ! WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF Chaos has one of the four stones that the first key girl found, but he says that she died. However, Evangeline finds out that this is not true when she meets the second key and she tries to kill Evangeline!!!she used to think love was like a house. once it was built, a person got to live in it forever. but now she wondered if love was more like a war with new foes constantly appearing and battles creeping up. winning at love was less about succeeding in a battle and more about continuing to fight, to choose the person you loved as the one you were willing to die for, over and over.' She also spends a lot of time in the library and learns about a couple of things that are important to the plot of this story. seeing this after the end hurts more than i ever couldve imagined i really will never be okay what happened to the happy moments ??? She blushed at the unwanted memory of his teeth and tongue on her skin. He’d been infected with vampire venom, and she’d been infected with stupidity. Evangeline still believed that every story had the possibility for infinite endings, and she was going to find one of the good ones

People called it heartbreak, but Evangeline thought that losing someone you loved broke more than just a heart. When she had lost her first love, it had shattered her entire world.”Do I think this is the best-written story of our generation? Hmm…nope! BUT it is really fun and silly, and if you like a young adult, slow-burn romance in a fantasy setting, this is the book for you! i am still baffled this is classified as YA. i have read picture books more intense than this. the writing is just like "this forest is so magic and fairytale like - wow much magic, much fairytale". what's a man supposed to do with that. i'm not really one to vividly imagine book settings but at least give me SOMETHING. Think of the most romantic moments of the book where the characters let their guards down and show some truer feelings. They are usually paired with danger and injury and getting saved. Can you think of other "damsel in distress" tales? Are they as common now as they were decades ago? This is only a story for those who believe in love, how it can tease, how it can stab, and sometimes, how it slips away. Don’t let that happen with this book. Masterful storyteller Stephanie Garber gives you it all—characters to love, villains to hate, and a world to get lost in." — Stacey Lee, author of The Downstairs Girl
